Updated October 2026. 888 runs three main real-money apps: 888casino, 888sport and 888poker. They belong to evoke plc, the group formerly called 888 Holdings, which also owns William Hill and Mr Green. This page explains what each app offers, how to get it and what to check before you sign up.

Who runs 888?

888 has been in online gambling since 1997, when 888casino launched. The parent company renamed itself evoke plc in 2024. In December 2025 evoke began a strategic review that could lead to a sale of the group or some of its brands, and in 2026 Bally’s was reported to be the preferred bidder. The apps keep running under the 888 name in the meantime. The company you contract with, and its licence, are named in the app’s terms and depend on where you live.

888casino app

The 888casino app offers slots, table games such as blackjack and roulette, and live dealer games. 888 makes some of its own games and also carries titles from outside studios. You need an account, and you must verify your identity before you can play for real money.

888sport app

888sport covers pre-match and in-play betting on football, horse racing, tennis and other sports, with cash-out on many markets. Live streaming and promotions vary by country and change often, so check what is offered in your market in the app itself.

888poker app

The 888poker app has cash games and tournaments, including SNAP fast-fold poker, where you move to a new table as soon as you fold. Our 888poker app review has more detail.

What happened to 888’s bingo apps?

888 sold its whole bingo business, including Wink Bingo and 888ladies, to Broadway Gaming in July 2022. Those apps are no longer part of 888, and an 888 account does not work on them.

How to download the 888 apps

• iPhone and iPad: download from the App Store. If an app does not appear, it is not offered in your country’s App Store.
• Android: Google Play carries real-money gambling apps only in countries where it allows them and where the operator is licensed. Elsewhere 888 may offer a download from its own website. Only install an Android file (APK) from the official 888 site, never from a third-party link.
• Browser: all three products also work in a mobile browser without downloading anything.

Deposits and withdrawals

888 accepts the usual debit cards and, in many countries, e-wallets such as PayPal, Skrill and Neteller, plus bank transfer. The methods shown in the cashier depend on your country. Withdrawals go through identity checks, and winnings are usually paid back to the method you deposited with where possible.

888 bonuses

888’s welcome offers differ by country and product and change often, so the figures shown in the app are the ones that count. Read the wagering requirements, game restrictions and expiry dates before you accept a bonus.

All bonuses are subject to 888’s full T&C.

Play safely

The 888 apps include deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion in the account settings. Use them if gambling stops being fun. In the UK you can also block all licensed gambling sites at once through GAMSTOP.
