
Under the terms of the said agreement, NEKTAN will roll out 40 of NetEnt’s most popular mobile gaming titles, including Gonzo’s Quest, South Park, and Starbust as well as other related content on its mobile gaming platform Evolve. The games will go live across the company’s real money gaming network of partners as of November.
David Gosen, Chief Executive Officer of NEKTAN, said that they are excited with the opportunity to offer NetEnt games to their mobile real money gaming partners and their gambling customers and to considerably enhance their current catalog of product offering that includes both third-party and original titles.
Mr. Gosen further noted that now their partners will have access to some of the most popular games developed by the Swedish company. The executive also said that their partnership with NetEnt came as part of NEKTAN’s growth strategy to provide new and high quality games as it finds this fundamental to securing significant “player traffic and frequency of visit.
Last week, NEKTAN posted its financial results for the full-year ended June 30, 2015. It generated annual revenue of £528,000 as compared to the amount of £1.87 million reported for the previous fiscal year.
Despite the considerable drop, executive said that they were optimistic about the future of the company as Q1 revenue from its European operations surpassed the figures posted for the full-year ended June 30. NEKTAN is also expected to further expand its presence in regulated gambling markets in the current financial year.
Commenting on the latest important partnership deal NetEnt has penned, Enrico Bradamante, Managing Director of NetEnt Malta Ltd. and Chief of the supplier’s European Market Operations, said that they are pleased to work with NEKTAN. Mr. Bradamante also noted that he sees great potential in the agreement, under which the Swedish gaming supplier will launch its games across Evolve, NEKTAN’s mobile gaming platform.
Last week, NetEnt announced that a selection of its most popular titles had gone live with UK-based gambling operator Gala Coral. In addition, it submitted an application for a transactional waiver by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement so that it can roll out its gaming titles with gambling operator Resorts Casino.
