The World Series of Poker announced on Monday that popular poker professionals Jennifer Harman and John Juanda have been selected to represent the 2015 Poker Hall of Fame Class.

The players will be inducted on November 6 at a special ceremony, which is to be held at Binion’s Gambling Hall in Las Vegas. The induction will be part of the festivities for the WSOP $10,000 Main Event final table. Harman and Juanda will become the 49th and the 50th members of the Poker Hall of Fame.

The two players beat out fellow poker pros and prominent poker personalities Bruno Fitoussi, Carlos Mortensen, Chris Bjorin, David Chiu, David Ulliott, Matt Savage, Max Pescatori, and Terry Rogers. Earlier this year, the names of all ten finalists were submitted to a special 16-member media panel as well as to all 23 living Poker Hall of Fame inductees, in order for those to cast their votes on who should be inducted in 2015.

Commenting on being selected as a member of the Poker Hall of Fame, Juanda said that he appreciates the important recognition and that it is a great honor for him to see his name among his all-time favorites Dan Harrington, Chip Reese, Daniel Negreanu, and Erik Seidel.

The Indonesia-born player, who now resides in California, is among the world’s most profitable poker pros. Juanda’s live tournament earnings currently amount to $17,250,677. He is the proud holder of five WSOP gold bracelet winners. So far, the player has won a total of $4,702,392 in 65 different Series events. Most recently, Juanda topped the field of the EPT Season 12 Barcelona €5,300 Main Event to collect €1,022,593. Over the span of his career, he has also won APT, WPT, PPT, and other tournaments.

Soon after the news of her joining the Poker Hall of Fame, Harman said in a statement that she is extremely happy to be selected. The player added that “poker has been an unbelievable journey” for her and that she considers it a great honor to be recognized by fellow poker players.

Harman has won two WSOP gold bracelets – one in 2000 and the other in 2002, thus becoming the first female poker player to hold multiple gold pieces. Her live tournament winnings currently total $2,707,477. Harman could boast of two WPT and twelve WSOP final tables as well as victories in a number of other prestigious events. She is known to be a frequent entry in high stakes games. It is also important to note that the female poker pro is involved in a number of charities, raising funds to support those.
