
Revenue from brick-and-mortar operations decreased 3.1% year-on-year to $191.6 million. Of those, $141.1 million were from slot machines and $50.5 million were from table games. Internet gaming operations generated a total of $12.9 million last month, reflecting a rise of 35.6% from the $9.5 million reported for October 2014.
Last month, four of Atlantic City’s eight operational casinos posted drops in their monthly revenue. Bally’s generated a total of $17 million, down 2.6% from October 2014. Caesars posted October revenue of $22.6 million, down 25.2% from the $30.2 million reported for the same month a year ago.
Revenue at Harrah’s dropped 9.8% year-on-year to $29.1 million. In comparison, the amount of $32.3 million was posted this time last year. Trump Taj Mahal generated a total of $13.6 million in October, down 18.7 year-on-year.
Revenue at The Borgata increased 10.5% year-on-year to reach $61.1 million last month. Of those, $57.6 million were from casino operations and $3.5 million were from Internet gambling.
Caesars Interactive New Jersey, known to be Caesars’ online gaming division, reported October revenue of $2.9 million, up 18% from the $2.5 million posted for the same month a year ago.
Revenue at the Golden Nugget totaled $17.7 million, reflecting a 10.6% rise from the $16 million reported for October 2014. Casino operations generated $14.9 million and Internet gaming contributed $2.7 million to the overall revenue.
Resorts posted a 21% revenue increase last month. The casino generated the amount of $14.8 million, up from the $12.2 million reported for October 2014. Revenue at Resorts Digital amounted to $899,184. The gambling venue’s online division was launched in February 2015.
Tropicana generated $24.6 million last month, up 4.4% year-on-year. Revenue from casino operations amounted to $21.7 million. Tropicana’s Internet division generated the total amount of $2.9 million.
Total gaming revenue for the first ten months of the year amounted to $2.2 billion, up 3.5% as compared to the results reported for the same period a year ago. Including the four gambling venues that closed doors last year, revenue for the ten months ended October 31, 2015 decreased 7.7% year-on-year.
