Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas is currently playing host to the seventh stop on the schedule of the 2015/16 WSOP Circuit. And five of all seventeen events, scheduled for the stop, have already been completed. Event #4: $365 No-Limit Hold’em was concluded last night. It saw poker player Jason Schwartz from Bozeman, Montana emerging victorious over its field to collect the first-place prize of $12,095 and his first gold ring.

The two-day event attracted a total of 144 entries who created a prize pool of $43,200. The top 15 places paid, with payouts starting from $729. The unofficial ten-handed final table was reached on Sunday evening and started with Matt Hauge as the chip leader. The player had a total of 229,500 in chips. Schwartz was fourth in chips at the beginning of ten-handed play.

Day 1 of the event was completed late on Sunday. Day 2 saw only 7 hopefuls returning to determine the name of the eventual winner. Seven-handed play started with Rick Dugger holding the majority of chips with 355,000. Schwartz was second with 288,000.

And it was no other than Dugger whom Schwartz faced heads-up. However, Dugger, who is currently based in Coronado, California, had to content himself with the second-place finish in the event and the amount of $7,476. This was the player’s second-ever WSOP Circuit cash.

As for Schwartz, it could be said that last night’s winner is not a stranger to the WSOP Circuit scene. The player has cashed in 27 Circuit events since 2009. His WSOP Circuit winnings currently amount to a little more than $80,000.
