Developer and supplier of B2B online gaming solutions GameAccount Network plc (GAN) announced today that its Simulated Gaming online experience is now available on Maryland Live! Casino’s social gaming website.
Maryland Live! Casino is located in Hanover, Maryland and is currently the state’s largest gaming property. The venue features more than 4,000 slot machines and 200 table games, both banking and non-banking ones. The casino is GAN’s fifth US land-based client to opt for the developer’s Simulated Gaming platform, which has been designed to provide US brick-and-mortar venues with numerous options for attracting the attention of more gambling customers.
Under the terms of the agreement between the two parties, GAN is replacing Maryland Live! Casino’s free-to-play website, after online customers have been successfully migrated to the supplier’s GameSTACK online gaming system, which powers the Simulated Gaming platform. The new platform has also been integrated with the casino’s existing loyalty program.
Generally speaking, the Simulated Gaming service has been developed by GAN specifically for US-based brick-and-mortar casinos. It gives gambling venues the opportunity to launch gaming-as-entertainment sites and to offer their customers more than 200 titles, including slots and table games, with blackjack and poker being among those.
Commenting on GAN’s newest agreement, CEO Dermot Smurfit said that the developer’s GameSTACK online gaming system will give Maryland Live! Casino the chance to provide customers with “compelling alternative” to social casino games and thus, generate additional revenue.
Mr. Smurfit further explained that within the course of a few months, his company has managed to deploy its gaming system and to integrate it within the Maryland-based casino’s management system, to complete a beta test, and to migrate the venue’s existing free-to-play community to GAN’s “monetized Simulated Gaming platform.”
Maryland Live! Casino President and General Manager Robert J. Norton said that the Simulated Gaming system would engage customers both online and at the facility, which would result in actual value being delivered on-property through the casino’s established loyalty program.
Mr. Norton added that through the integration of GAN’s solution, Maryland Live! Casino will be able to extend its relationships with patrons online and to popularize Simulated Gaming not only within the United States’ borders but also internationally.
