Popular supplier of products for the gambling industry Scientific Games Corporation announced on Wednesday that it has enhanced its partnership with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation through the launch of mobile real-money offering on the corporation’s PlayNow gaming website.
Apart from the desktop games already offered on the website, there are now mobile titles developed by Scientific Games Interactive’s game development studios Williams and Bally. The recently launched mobile games include popular titles like Cash Spin, Cash Wizard, Montezuma, Lady Robin Hood, Raging Rhino, Zeus, and Zeus III. More content is expected to be launched in the months to come.
Following the recently extended partnership between Scientific Games and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, representatives for the PlayNow brand said that it is particularly excited to bring some of the most popular land-based gaming titles to a mobile platform.
Scientific Games Vice President of Global Commercial, Interactive Bob Hays said in a statement that the launch of the mobile content is a significant step in the company’s partnership with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. According to the executive, it is important for Scientific Games to be omni-channel at a time when there are more mobile devices in the world than humans and when gambling customers’ expectations for “a seamless gaming experience” are growing constantly.
Mr. Hays further noted that they are all really excited with the opportunity to continue working with the gaming corporation in order to be able to deliver more desktop and mobile gambling content for customers to engage anytime and anywhere.
The British Columbia Lottery Corporation was founded back in the 1980s and since then it has been managing the gambling operations provided around the Canadian province and has been contributing a great portion of the overall net gambling income to various important causes. Annually, the corporation generates more than C$1 billion in revenue from the various gambling services, both land-based and online ones, offered in British Columbia
And since its launch in 2004, the PlayNow online brand has been offering a number of gambling options, including online casino games, sports betting, lottery, and other related products, to customers based in British Columbia. Here it is also important to note that PlayNow was in fact Canada’s first legal gambling website.
