
Germon Knopp’s appointment as Chief Financial Officer could be described as the highest profile one. Mr. Knopp will be joining BetVictor from provider of commercial search and lead generation European Directories. The executive will assume his new post on February 1.
Shane Stafford, Creative Director at Paddy Power, will also join BetVictor on February 1 as the operator’s new Head of Brand and Creative.
Emma Tompkins, who had previously worked for major gambling brands such as 888 and bwin.party, as well as for South African casino operator Sun International Group, has already assumed her new post as Head of BetVictor’s Casino and Poker operations.
Kris Marshall has been appointed as Head of Business Intelligence and Analytics at the Gibraltar-licensed gaming company. Mr. Marshal has previously served as Head of Customer Analytics and Business Intelligence for Gala Coral. He has also taken various related roles at 32Red, Bodog, PartyGaming, etc.
Last but not least, Nyna Solanki has been hired as Head of Legal. She is known to have gathered considerable “commercial experience” throughout her public practice. Most recently, she has worked in the insurance sector.
Ms. Tompkins, Mr. Marshall, and Ms. Solanki have already assumed their posts at BetVictor. As mentioned above, the gambling operator also announced today an internal promotion. Sarah Wood, former Business Compliance Manager, has been promoted to Head of Compliance at the company.
Ms. Wood joined BetVictor in June 2015. As Head of Compliance, she will be required to oversee the operator’s compliance, regulatory, and responsible gaming matters. Prior to joining the Gibraltar-licensed gambling company, she has worked at Gala Interactive as well as gambling operators in Malta and Gibraltar.
Commenting on the latest announcement, BetVictor CEO Andreas Meinrad said that they are delighted with the quality of the new appointments as they are bringing the necessary skills and abilities the company considers fundamental. Mr. Meinrad pointed out that 2015 was an excellent year for the operator and the new people joining it represent a terrific start to 2016.
