‘Virtual 3D Experience is What Comes Next for the iGaming Industry’ with Karolina Filip from Tivoli Casino

Events & Reports

Karolina Filip is an Affiliate Manager at Tivoli Casino. She tends to call herself an industry veteran as she has been around for some time and has surely seen the online casino business grow into what it is now. Karolina spent a few minutes with CasinoNewsDaily at the LAC, talking with us about her brand, her experience at the conference, and other, more general topics.

Could you, please, introduce yourself and your brand?

I’m Karolina. I’m an Affiliate Manager at Tivoli Casino.

We are basically coming from a land-based amusement park, located in Copenhagen, Denmark – Tivoli Gardens. And in 2014, we launched our online casino. We mainly have strong presence in Scandinavia where the majority of our players come from. We are also present in the UK and Germany. We support multiple currencies such as EUR, GBP, SEK and NOK for Sweden and Norway, respectively. We offer generous welcome packs to our players. Our product is casino-only for now. We also have live chat support. Our support team is always there to answer our players’ questions or help them in any other way.

Our main providers are NetEnt, Microgaming, NYX, and Play’n GO. We have more than 300 games available across all these platforms. We are also fully mobile and compatible with all mobile devices. We launch games regularly. Whatever new game there is released, we make sure it becomes available at Tivoli Casino right away, so our players can play the latest slots and enjoy the new experience.

What do you think an online casino should offer in order to retain players, to make them stay there and play for a longer time?

I believe that the key for making players return is to regularly engage with them and come up with unique promotions, competitions, and bonuses, so they are interested and encouraged to come back, re-deposit and continue their gaming experience.

I also believe that what players now really enjoy is playing on mobile. There are players who like to have a few spins on the go and if a casino is available on mobile, that’s quite handy and encourages customers to play their favourite game anywhere they might be. And of course – new games. Players like to find the latest games as well as the most popular ones on the casino website. Thus, they can try new slots and keep themselves entertained.

Is it your first time at the LAC?

Oh, absolutely not. I’m an industry veteran. I think this is my eighth year in a row.

And in what way events like this help your business?

Events like this one are absolutely valuable. We get to meet so many people here like you, guys. I mean, people that you don’t just bump into while sitting in your office. And here, in a couple of days, you get to meet so many affiliates, get new relationships going, exchange opinions about the industry and about the way things are going. It’s really great!

We can showcase our product. We can shake hands, make new deals and re-engage with existing partners.

One final question. Where do you see the online gambling industry in five years from now?

I see it going into a more engaging 3D experience. Players’ experience will likely take a whole new level. They will likely play with virtual glasses that will get them right into the game. That’s it – the virtual casino experience will probably be the next level, the next generation of enhanced gaming.
