Could you, please, introduce yourself?
My name is Stephanie Wynters, Head of Affiliates at 138.com.
Could you give us more information about your brand?
Sure. Basically, 138.com is mainly targeted for Asians who live in the UK and Europe. However, everybody is welcome because we offer entertaining options for the rest of the world and for different other cultures, as well. We have both Asian live dealers and European live dealers. We have the best software – Microgaming, Amaya. We have mini-games with RNG.
We offer some great games like Bridesmaids, Jurassic Park, Game of Thrones. We also feature free spins, big bonuses. Our affiliate program is also very generous for casino affiliates.
Our strongest market is the UK. Our sports betting division is very settled there. We sponsor Watford FC and we are opening betting shops in Chinatowns across the UK. We’ve just opened one on Leicester Square in London and we’re opening a few more in Manchester, Birmingham, etc.
Have you exhibited at the LAC before?
Yes, we’ve been exhibiting for the last three years at the LAC, BAC, and AAC. We normally exhibit at all three conferences.
In what way events like these help your business?
Well, we get to meet the affiliates face-to-face. We get to sit down with them and have one-on-one conversations, make negotiations, get to know each other, establish relationships. We also meet a bunch of new affiliates at every conference we exhibit. So, it’s worth it 100%.
And, finally, where do you see the industry in five years from now?
I see everything turning more and more technical. I expect a lot more integration between the affiliates’ websites and our websites, a lot more communication between the websites.
Virtual reality – I think it will take off in the next five years, for sure.
