Commenting on the latest announcement, AGS CEO David Lopez said that they were looking for a veteran executive to lead their efforts in Latin America after the acquisition of Cadillac Jack, known to be an established gambling business in Mexico. Mr. Lopez further noted that Mr. Pawlak’s industry knowledge and experience will help AGS position itself for a long-term growth in the region, in spite of the dynamic regulatory and customer environments there.
As it seems, Mr. Pawlak is a man with a rich experience not only in the gambling industry but also in the technology and entertainment ones. Most recently, he has taken the post of Senior Vice President of Business Development at BMM Test Labs. He has spent there almost 12 years and his work has been instrumental in the year-over-year growth of the business. Mr. Pawlak also has quite an extensive experience in working with both gambling operators and regulators across Latin America.
Given all this, AGS pointed out that its new General Manager of Mexico and Vice President of Latin America is adding immediate value to its leadership team.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Pawlak said that he has decided to join AGS due to its diverse product offering and the strong momentum the company has built through its latest acquisitions. The official also pointed out that the Las Vegas supplier is one of few to be “truly in growth mode” at present with its numerous opportunities for expansion in new markets and “unique product standouts.”
Mr. Pawlak added that he is really excited to be part of a company with so many “prospects on the horizon” and excellent corporate culture.
Generally speaking, AGS is a designer and manufacturer of casino games and related solutions. Although it is best known for its Class II offering for the Native American gambling market, the company has also been developing Class III product lines as well as mobile casino games for some time now.
