London-based developer and distributor of gaming products of all sorts Nektan was just announced to have signed a deal with the American company Spin Games. Both suppliers aim at expanding their businesses in the land-based casino market within the United States. Of course, they will be able to do that in the 32 states that allow gambling within their territories.
The two companies’ primary goal is to try to introduce their various mobile products to already existing land-based casino operators and to help them launch those in their venues. Customers will be able to pay for a daily pass and, thus, play casino games on slot machines and mobile devices within the premises of the facilities.
Nektan and Spin Games have already agreed on three joint projects with tribal and commercial businesses, based in California and Nevada. However, the names of their partners have not been announced yet. It is important to note that this ambitious endeavor will most probably bring impressive turnover to both gaming suppliers and casinos from the very beginning.
Gary Shaw, currently being executive chairman of Nektan, commented on their collaboration with Slot Games as an important and necessary stage in their development and expansion strategy. He stated that this joint project, involving the Evolve platform and the American company Slot Games, will help them launch their mobile solutions to all 32 states that have legalized casino activities and gambling as a whole. Mr Shaw also pointed out that Nektan’s partnership with Slot Games will ensure the British company’s rapid introduction to the American market.
Kent Young, the present president and managing director of Spin Games, stated that he and his company were pleased with the opportunity to form this collaboration. He stated with a considerable degree of certainty that their “combined technology and expertise will allow [them] to exploit the opportunities in the North American gaming market.”
Currently, Spin Games provides the state of New Jersey with its various gaming platforms. The company collaborates with KGM Gaming, yet another well-known producer and operator of gaming products. The two firms are to launch their products in famous venues such as Caesars Interactive and Golden Nugget, offering to them video poker, slot machines, and numerous table games.
Young explained further that Slot Games’ partnership with Nektan will strengthen the position of the Reno-based manufacturer on the American gaming market.
Some two weeks ago, Nektan announced that it gained a total of GBP4.1 million after its admission on the London AIM market. What is more, the company’s value on the market was reported to be GBP50.1 million. This morning, its shares were traded up at 196.00 pence per share. By comparison, their price was 255.00 pence per share earlier this month.
