Marco Trucco, who was recently assigned the position of manager of PokerStars Italy, announced that the popular poker platform will introduce its casino and sports-betting products on the Apennines.
Trucco stated that PokerStars has already made it public that it will diversify its catalogue of services with new games and will launch them in the countries that allow these, Italy being among them. It seems that PokerStars.it will be offering these new options really soon.
According to Mr. Trucco, fans of casino-related games will be able to explore the world of PokerStars, which has been alluring millions of poker players for quite some time, providing them with first-class services.
The sports-betting options are to be introduced a bit later, when they are fully developed. The manager of the Italian division promised that they will be by no means inferior to those offered by the most popular brands in the industry.
It was also announced that PokerStars.it intends to allure new players by means of its casino games and thus, draw their attention to the world of poker.
“We need to open the house of Stars even to those who are not yet poker enthusiasts,” Mr. Trucco commented. He also shared that poker will certainly reap benefits from this.
It appears that the new manager of PokerStars.it is no stranger to online gaming and this is not his first position as a director of a gambling site. Previously, Trucco has worked for the Everest Group, he was CEO of a an Italian online gambling platform, known as CasinoItalia, and gaming director at EuroBet.
He stated that he and his colleagues intend to turn poker into the most popular mass-game of the century. In order to achieve this, they will do their best to create “that kind of experience that those who have never played online poker want to find at the tables.”
