Operator and provider of solutions for the international gambling industry INTRALOT announced that it has extended its existing partnership with Pacific Online System Corporation, a public company running the Philippines Charity Sweepstakes Office games. The new agreement is valid through August 31, 2018.
This has been the fifth extension of the existing contract between the two parties since the establishment of their partnership back in 2006.
Under the terms of the newly signed agreement, INTRALOT would keep on supplying its LOTOS online lottery system solution to the gaming corporation. In addition, the Greek supplier would also provide more than 1,200 lottery terminals and would connect 800 more main units across the points-of-sales network managed by Pacific Online Systems Corp.
Commenting on the latest announcement, Willy Ocier, President of the gaming corporation, said that the contract extension’s main goal is for the two companies to build on the established strong foundations and to provide retailers across the Philippines with the opportunity to take advantage of innovative gaming technology that would help them boost lottery sales.
Mr. Ocier further noted that INTRALOT has always been a valuable partner in Pacific Online Systems Corp.’s endeavor to modernize the Philippine lottery landscape and thanks to the Greek company’s global experience, they have manged to further expand their operations.
Nikos Nikolakopoulos, Chief Operating Officer of INTRALOT, noted that they are extremely excited by the opportunity to embark on such a long-term partnership with Pacific Online Systems Corp. The official also pointed out that they are looking forward to supporting their partners in their endeavor to provide innovative and proven gaming solutions, to optimize customer experience, and to boost sales.
Last week, INTRALOT announced its new growth strategy. The company said that it aims at securing sustainable EBITDA increase, solid cash flow, and quick reduction of net debt through strategic transactions and the introduction of novel services and products.
Recently, the Greek company completed the merger of its Italian operations with those of fellow gaming company Gamenet. INTRALOT now holds a 20% stake in the combined entity. The company has also announced that it would buy a 49% share in Eurobet Bulgaria, the main provider of lottery and scratchcards across the country.
