Canada-listed supplier of gaming content and technology NYX Gaming Group today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with leading Portuguese land-based casino operator Solverde S.A. for the integration of online gaming content and player account managing tools via the Open Platform System. The OPS solution is one of NYX Gaming’s most widely preferred products.
Solverde is at present one of the two major operators of brick-and-mortar casinos in Portugal. The company manages five land-based venues across the country. By signing a digital content agreement with NYX Gaming, the gambling operator wants to expand its operations in the online casino space as well. The announcement about the future partnership between the Portuguese company and the popular gaming supplier comes after local legislators approved the issuance of online gambling licenses in the country.
Aside from the integration of the OPS system solution, the content distribution agreement will also see Solverde launching leading gaming titles, both slots and scratch card ones, developed by NYX Gaming’s subsidiary NextGen across its online gaming sites. Portuguese players will be able to play Foxin’ Wins, Merlin’s Millions Superbet, Jackpot Jester 50,000 and many more immediately after being launched in what is soon to become Europe’s next regulated online gambling market.
As part of the recently penned deal, Solverde will be among the first gaming operators to go live with NYX Gaming’s brand new NYX BI business intelligence solution. Basically, the product allows operators to monitor and examine player activity in real time. A number of products and systems can be integrated into the solution, thus achieving coverage across all channels.
Americo Loureiro, Director at Solverde, said that they have opted for NYX Gaming’s products as the supplier has been demonstrating capacity, quality, and impressive client portfolio.
Of the new content distribution agreement, David Flynn, Executive Vice President Business Development, said that they are really happy to be chosen by the Portuguese casino operator as it is expanding online. The official also noted that through the OPS solution, Solverde will be able to provide gambling customers from across Portugal with “responsive, omni-channel” gaming experience.
