NetEnt Online Casino Content Goes Live with Rank Group’s UK-Facing Brands

Swedish provider of online casino games for the international iGaming industry NetEnt announced today that it has inked yet another important customer agreement with a major European gambling operator. UK-headquartered gaming company The Rank Group Plc has become the supplier’s latest client.

The operator is known to be among the largest across Europe with a particularly strong presence in the UK. Under its agreement with NetEnt, the latter would supply its online casino games to the online divisions of The Rank Group’s Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca brands.

Grosvenor Casinos currently manages the largest chain of land-based casinos across the UK. As for Mecca, it is among the leading providers of bingo options in the country. Apart from its UK-facing gambling brands, the operator also runs the Enracha brand in Spain, with 9 venues across the country offering bingo and electronic casino games.

NetEnt’s partnership with The Rank Group comes as part of the Swedish developer and supplier’s strategy to further expand its presence in the UK.

Commenting on the announcement about NetEnt’s latest customer agreement, Managing Director of NetEnt Malta Ltd. and Chief of European Market Operations, Enrico Bradamante, said that they are delighted to be entering into a partnership that would further their growth in the UK, a market they consider particularly important.

The official also noted that NetEnt has the strength to support The Rank Group in growing its online gambling business and that the Swedish supplier’s gaming content will most certainly be appreciated by gambling customers of the UK-facing gambling operator.

Rank Digital Head of Casino and Games Ciara Nic Liam added that they are thrilled to be adding content by NetEnt to their existing Grosvenor and Mecca online offering. Ms. Liam further noted that they are looking forward to working together with the Swedish provider, particularly given the latter’s proven track record in the UK. The official also expressed confidence that NetEnt’s content would resonate well with The Rank Group’s gambling customers.

This has not been the first agreement the UK-based gambling operator has signed with a major provider of solutions for the gambling industry. Earlier this year, it was announced that its Grosvenor Casinos brand would deploy Playtech’s Neon casino management system across its chain of 55 brick-and-mortar casinos in the country.
