Vermantia Joins European Lotteries Association

News

Omni-channel supplier of virtual and live sports product offering to international licensed gaming and lottery operators Vermantia announced that it has joined the European Lotteries Association as an Associate Member.

Essentially, the European Lotteries Association is an organization that brings together both private and state-run lottery operators that provide different games of chance for gambling customers. It is the association’s main goal to promote “sound and sustainable” gambling for society’s benefit. Being an Associate Member, Vermantia will now pursue the same goals and values.

Company representatives have pointed out that the gaming provider now being approved could be considered another recognition to the innovativeness and market-leading position of its solutions. In addition to this, the company will thus be able to further enhance its contribution to the international lottery industry as it is entering a new era of its growth.

Commenting on the latest announcement, Vermantia Founder and CEO Filippos Antonopoulos said the European Lotteries Association membership comes as part of his company’s strategy to pay particular attention to lottery operators. In addition, joining the association validates Vermantia’s mission to provide the said operators with top-class gaming content and dedicated player service.

The executive further pointed out that their membership is an honor that recognizes the company’s success in keeping up with the trends related with the lottery industry’s growth and evolution, in which it has always been striving to play an instrumental part.

The European Lotteries Association has not been the only important lottery organization Vermantia has become member of recently. It was in April when the gaming provider announced that it has joined the Asia-Pacific Lottery Association, with the latter representing a total of 25 lotteries from 10 Asia-Pacific countries.

Vermantia has also recently been greenlighted to expand its presence in several international markets. In May, the company received a virtual games supplier license in Romania. Thus, it became the first supplier of virtual games content to be given the nod to enter the newly regulated local market.

It was also in May when Vermantia partnered INTRALOT to launch its virtual games offering in Brazil. Under the agreement, INTRALOT Minas Gerais, known to be INTRALOT’s Brazilian subsidiary that manages Lotteria Mineira, was provided with the opportunity to launch more than 14 virtual games developed by Vermantia and offered through its Vermantia CONNECT platform.
