The company’s products have already been integrated into the William Hill-managed CBS platform and have gone live in two Nevada-based casinos as part of field trial greenlighted by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The two casinos are Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino and Plaza Hotel and Casino. Both venues are located in Las Vegas and their sports betting offering is operated by William Hill US Race & Sports Book.
Inspired Gaming’s Virtuals content will be featured alongside the live sports offering at both casinos. Gambling customers of the two venues will be offered the opportunity to place their bets in real time both via self-service betting terminals and over the counter.
If the field trial is deemed successful by the Nevada gambling regulator, Inspired Gaming Virtual Sports will go live across all casino venues that offer sports betting options run by William Hill and its platform.
Commenting on the latest announcement, Inspired Gaming CCO Steve Rogers said that they are delighted by the fact that the company has become the first one to deploy land-based Virtuals offering in the US, and Nevada in particular. The official further noted that the deal is indicative of Inspired Gaming’s leading position in the global deployment of Virtual Sports.
It was announced in May that Inspired Gaming has actually become the first supplier of Virtual Sports content to be allowed to enter the US market. The provider signed an agreement with Golden Nugget Atlantic City and its online gambling arm to launch its offering via its US-based partner Spin Games LLC and the latter’s proprietary ROC remote gaming server.
With the said deal, Inspired Gaming has become a licensed online gaming technology supplier to New Jersey’s Internet gambling market. The state is one of three to have legalized the provision of online gaming options within their borders.
