Online poker and casino brand PKR has become the latest internationally recognized operator to roll out Evolution Gaming Live Casino content. PKR has recently launched Live Casino versions of some of the world’s most popular traditional casino games, with the offering now being available on desktop and mobile.
PKR is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. Back in 2006, the popular brand went live with its 3D poker platform. The addition of Live Casino games by Evolution Gaming comes as part of the operator’s strategy to turn its website into a multi-product one.
Live Roulette, Live Casino Hold’em, and Live Blackjack are among the titles now available to PKR gambling customers. The online gaming brand has launched three more titles, powered by Evolution Gaming.
This spring, PKR successfully moved its player pool to MPN, previously referred to as the Microgaming Poker Network. Despite the important change, PKR said that its 3D product offering, which has long been what has distinguished the brand from its competitors, would not be affected. Generally speaking, the MPN move allowed the online poker brand to provide customers with better personalization opportunities. In addition, PKR players are now offered a wider tournament variety and bigger prize pools.
As part of its partnership with Microgaming as well as its growth and diversification strategy, PKR also relaunched its PKR Casino brand and introduced the all-new PKR Vegas online slots brand.
Going even further with its revitalization plans, PKR rolled out in July Jackpot Sit & Go offering, thus becoming the first online poker website to go live with such a product within MPN.
Commenting on the recent addition of Live Casino offering, PKR CEO Chris Welch said that online poker is still in the brand’s DNA but given the record casino revenue generated over the past year, they consider the launch of Live Casino a really exciting development in their history.
Mr. Welch further noted that they are planning “further radical transformation of the business” and that the changes planned together with continued growth will most certainly take PKR to the next level. The executive also hinted that more products fitting the operator’s “realistic ethos” are to be launched in the months to come.
PKR went live with as many as six of Evolution Gaming’s most popular Live Casino titles, with all of them being available across both desktop and hand-held devices.
