Gambling is among those dynamic industries that see growth coming at a fast pace and consumers’ demand for diversity and state-of-the-art offering necessitates even faster-paced thinking and working so as for that demand to be responded to in an adequate manner. Exhibitions and conferences have always been important forums for gambling operators, providers of gambling products, and industry personalities to showcase their progress and proficiency and to check whether they are relevant to the existing trends and capable of adapting to the upcoming ones.
On that note, the Global Gaming Expo, or G2E as it is frequently referred to, is one of the most popular such forums to take place every fall in Las Vegas, Nevada. And it is now precisely this time of the year when the gambling universe is getting ready for the 2016 edition of the industry’s “preeminent show.”
This year, G2E is slated to take place from Monday, September 26 through Thursday, September 29, with exhibits scheduled for September 27-29. The show will once again be hosted by the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. Of course, the location is one chosen with no randomness, given Las Vegas’ long-standing reputation as a gambling mecca. It is also important to note that the Global Gaming Expo is organized by the American Gaming Association, known to be an organization responsible for the nationwide promotion of the industry as well as for legislative and regulatory issues involving industry representatives.
Although G2E is to a major extend focused on gambling in North America, the show is one of global importance for an industry whose presence spreads across all four corners of the world and within the everyday lives of a huge number of people.
As usual, the Global Gaming Expo will not be an exhibition, a conference, a networking event only, but will rather combine all of the aforementioned and many more.
Organizers have announced that this year the show will be kicked off with a new floor plan that will give more room for exhibiting and showcasing. Speaking of that, more than 450 exhibitors, with some of the industry’s biggest names being among these, have registered for G2E’s 2016 edition. They will be putting their latest products on display, with all of them aimed at taking the industry at the next level of its development and growth.
The Integrated Resort Experience will once again be part of the Global Gaming Expo’s schedule and it should not be any different, given the growing popularity of the integrated casino resorts in the Asia-Pacific region and North America. The Integrated Resort Experience will be moved to the main floor this year and will provide interested parties with much more than a quick glimpse into four main non-gaming segments that are instrumental to integrated resorts’ success, with those being Technology Solutions, Hospitality Concepts, Food and Beverage, and Entertainment.
Exhibitors will be able to put on show products from the above-mentioned four areas. Even though their offering is not directly related to gambling in its purest form, it is believed to be very helpful to casino operators in their attempts to attract more potential players and to make them stay longer.
As every year, industry-related panel discussions will be featured as part of the Global Gaming Expo. People with years and even decades of experience in the field will be presenting their viewpoints on topics oriented towards innovation, regulation, promotion, expansion, and many more. Sports betting, casino, and newly emerging offering gambling offering, land-based and digital gambling operations, they will all be covered and broadly discussed at G2E.
Mentioning the G2E Education Program that will take place within the Global Gaming Expo is a must. Interactive and technologically advanced sessions will provide attendees with important insights into the industry. Leading experts will dwell on topics already discussed in previous years as well as on some new ones, including the US presidential election and its impact on gambling, identifying generations’ preferences and shaping offering in a manner that would respond best to those preferences, and many more.
Beginning on September 26 and being recognized as one of the industry’s most important events, G2E will certainly once again be a gathering place for gambling representatives from different verticals and of different experience and knowledge to exchange opinions and important information about how the industry will develop in the near future and what comes next for the global market.
