The Caribbean region has gradually become a popular destination among poker players and tournament organizers. Online poker room partypoker, which is also known for sponsoring exciting live poker festivals taking place in different parts of the world, is currently making preparations for yet another such event. And as it could be suggested, it will be held exactly in the Caribbean region.

The Caribbean Poker Party is slated to run from November 19 through November 26 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic. Players will be welcomed for a week of entertainment and poker tournaments with millions of dollars in guaranteed prize money. The partypoker Million Tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $2 million and a buy-in fee of $2,750 and the WPT Caribbean $5,000 Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million will be the highlight events to take place within the festival.

The Caribbean Poker Party is expected to attract a multitude of players, both professional and recreational ones. In fact, partypoker reveals each week the name of one poker pro who will be seen at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino poker tables during the festival. This week, the online poker room confirmed that Florida-based poker professional Michael Mizrachi will try to add yet another prestigious title to his rich portfolio.

With live tournament cashes dating back to 2004, Mizrachi is one of the most successful players of our time. The player boasts three WSOP and two WPT titles among numerous other poker achievements.

He won his first major title back in 2005, when he emerged victorious in the WPT L.A. Poker Classic $10,000 Championship event for $1,859,909 in prize money. WPT title number two came several months later, when the player won the 2006 WPT Borgata Winter Open $10,000 Championship event for $1,173,373.

Mizrachi is also a two-time WSOP $50,000 Players Championship winner. He won his first title from the event in 2010. Title number two came two years later. As mentioned above, the player has three WSOP gold bracelets in his collection of poker trophies. He captured his third piece for winning the WSOP Europe €10,400 Mixed No-Limit Hold’em event back in 2011. What is more, the player finished 5th in the 2010 WSOP $10,000 Main Event for his biggest live cash of $2,332,992.

With live tournament winnings of more than $15 million, numerous in-the-money finishes in prestigious tournaments, multiple victories in the world’s most popular poker series, and indisputable poker skills, Mizrachi will certainly be a difficult opponent to face at the upcoming Caribbean Poker Party.
