Gaming platform provider Bit8 has been granted a Class 2 B2B license by the Romanian gambling regulator, Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc, the Malta-headquartered company announced on Friday.
The newly received license strengthens Bit8’s presence in the Romanian market, which was re-regulated last year and is now open to international service providers and operators. The supplier is recognized for the provision of a multi-channel gaming platform used by both land-based and online casino operators in more than 50 countries around the world.
Bit8’s product has been designed with the aim to satisfy the needs of both its clients and their players. The platform works with a number of gaming providers and features various games, a sophisticated bonus system, and different promotions and tournaments. CRM add-ons and rule engine make the product easy to manage by every operator that has opted for it.
Sealing a deal with one of Romania’s largest land-based and online gambling operators – Super Bet, Bit8 has become the preferred service provider for its partner’s gambling website.
Commenting on the announcement, Bit8 CEO Angelo Dalli said in a Friday statement that they are thrilled to be granted a license in such an exciting market. The executive further noted that their platform has been designed to be scalable and to service clients in multiple jurisdictions. The newly received license comes as a testament to their product’s capabilities, Mr. Dalli pointed out.
Bit8 is particularly proud with the platform’s functionality which provides operators with the chance to help retail players into the online gambling space. This approach has already proved successful throughout Bit8’s existing partnership with Super Bet. Mr. Dalli believes that given this and the recently granted license, his company will become the preferred service provider for other operators servicing players within the Romanian market.
Earlier this year, Bit8 signed a major partnership agreement with Greek lottery giant Intralot, which has allowed the Malta-based company to expand its presence to more than 50 markets worldwide. Bit8 will showcase its products at the upcoming EiG, which will be held in Berlin from October 18-20, thus joining the multitude of suppliers and gambling operators set to attend one of the most important iGaming events to annually take place.
