This week’s top poker spots for poker professionals or aspiring poker professionals include Macau, Las Vegas, Brazil, and the Czech Republic. They will all provide a multitude of options for tournament entries to boost their bankrolls, face fellows in quality poker clashes, and have fun while playing a favorite game. Here are the most exciting festivals set to begin in the week between October 24-30.
2016 DeepStack Extravaganza IV
The fourth DeepStack Extravaganza festival is slated to take place at The Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from October 24 to November 24. Over the next month, players at the casino will be able to enter 56 different tournaments, including satellites to larger events within the festival. And some of them will be rewarded generously for their performance at the poker tables, as some of the events featured on the schedule will have guaranteed prize pools of up to $400,000.
The Main Event will be played over five days from November 17 through November 21. Everyone who plans to enter it should know that they will have to pay a buy-in of $1,600 for the purpose. The event features a guaranteed prize pool of $400,000.
WSOP International Circuit – Brazil
The Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, Brazil will open its doors for players from the region and the rest of the world for a stop on the WSOP International Circuit. Tables will be set for both pros and recreational players from October 26 to November 2. They will be offered the chance to contend against each other, feel the thrill of the WSOP Circuit, and eventually win payouts and gold rings. The WSOP Circuit pieces of jewelry are known to be among the most popular non-monetary prizes in the poker community, particularly in the US where the poker series was established and has been touring around the nation for more than a decade now.
The International Circuit Brazil stop will include 25 different poker events. The festival will be kicked off with a R$580 Brazilian Storm No-Limit Hold’em tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of R$1 million. The event will be a multiple starting flight one and will run from October 26-29.
The R$3,950 Main Event is set to begin on October 28. It will feature three starting flights and three more days of play. Apart from the biggest share of the prize pool, the winner will also secure a seat into the 2017 WSOP Global Casino Championship, which is set to take place next summer as a conclusion to the WSOP Circuit’s 2016/17 season.
WSOP International Circuit – Czech Republic
King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic has turned into Europe’s premium poker destination and this is why the WSOP International Circuit traveling to the gambling venue comes as no surprise at all. Kicking off on October 27, the next stop on the International Circuit schedule is set to run up to November 14. Interested players will be able to contend in 14 tournaments, mostly No-Limit Hold’em ones but not limited to just that poker variant.
The €1,650 Main Event will be played from November 11 to November 14. The event will feature two starting flights and two more days of play. Entries will contend for a share of a guaranteed prize pool of €1 million and a WSOP Circuit gold ring that goes hand in hand with the largest portion of the money to the winner.
Asia Championship of Online Poker
PokerStars LIVE Macau or the poker room at City of Dreams Macau was proudly announced as the host to the Asia Championship of Poker. The exciting poker festival will once again attract a great number of Asia’s best poker players for seventeen days of quality action. Two types of tournaments are set to take place within ACOP’s schedule – ACOP Title Events or Spadies, and Regular events for players with smaller bankrolls but big love for the game. As their name suggests, Spadies will go along with a spade-like tournament trophy for the winner.
The HK$100,000 Main Event will be the festival’s highlight. The tournament is set to run on November 7-12. It will feature the largest prize pool to be offered in the region. Entries will get the chance to win a share of guaranteed HK$15 million in prize money.
The whole Asia Championship of Poker festival is slated to take place on October 28-November 13.
Aria High Roller 44/Aria Super High Roller 12
Aria’s high roller tournaments have been gaining more and more popularity among players who are more than happy to put substantial amounts of money at stake. The Las Vegas-based venue will hold two such tournaments this week. The $25,000 Aria High Roller 44 is scheduled for October 27. Aria Super High Roller 12, a $100,000 buy-in tournament, is set for October 28-29.
