Swedish gambling operator Cherry AB announced today that its new XCaliber B2B business is set to commence operations soon. The gambling company said that the new division will be focused on providing innovative gaming technology and services to international clients.
Launching the fully independent technology business, the Swedish gambling group aims to expand and solidify its position into the relevant business area. The company pointed out that XCaliber has been the result from serious investment and top industry talent that has build an in-house system infrastructure and platform to be distributed to interested gambling operators. The new division will also be expected to support and provide growth opportunities for Cherry’s online business – Cherry iGaming.
Tracking software tool Omarsys, an aggregator system for payments and fraud prevention, and a robust gambling platform will be among the products to bee launched as part of XCaliber catalog of product offering.
Based in Malta, XCaliber will be led by Dario Arruda as its Chief Executive. Up until now, Mr. Arruda has served as Chief Technology Officer at Cherry iGaming.
Commenting on his appointment and the upcoming launch, the official said that it was only fair to make their technology solutions available to other gambling operators. Mr. Arruda further pointed out that a lot of efforts and investment has gone into the creation of the products in question and that they have been instrumental to Cherry iGaming’s brands efforts to establish themselves in the highly competitive online gambling market.
With the creation of the XCaliber business, the Cherry group now operates in five gambling business areas. As Cherry AB CEO Fredrik Burvall said, the company will thus be able to benefit from diversified revenue streams and to see entrepreneurs within the group expand and grow.
Providing comments on the newly established division, Cherry iGaming CEO Jonas Wåhlander said that over the years, they have developed excellent propositions and that it was about time they had shared these with industry peers. The official said that now XCaliber will be able to generate value not only to their own brands but to existing and future business partners.
Apart from the soon-to-be-launched B2B business, Cherry also manages an iGaming division, a performance-based marketing businesses, a Restaurant Casino chain with facilities across Sweden, and gaming development studio Yggdrasil Gaming.
