Inspired Gaming, a leading Virtual Sports, Mobile Games and SBG Video Lottery provider, released an update on the key catalysts in the company’s business for the second half of 2016. The update comes after the recent announcements of Inspired’s expansion into Nevada and several key European markets.
According to the latest updates released by the company, Inspired’s Virtual Sports offering passed a technical field trial with the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The full product portfolio is likely to become available in sportsbooks across Nevada in 2017.
The company also announced it sealed a material Open Platform deal with leading Italian operator, Global Starnet. The agreement between the two parties is expected to result in an increase of Inspired’s presence in the Global Starnet estate to over 3,000 terminals.
These two developments can be attributed to Inspired’s achievements in the second half of 2016. After the Hellenic Gaming Commission in Greece announced its new regulations in regard to video lottery terminals earlier this year, the Greek Organisation of Football Prognosis (OPAP) determined all necessary conditions are in place to enable it to restart its plans for the operation of video lottery terminals on the territory of the country.
This will allow Inspired to unveil over 3,900 video lottery terminals on the Greek market in early 2017. The company also reported it reached an agreement with OPAP so that its entire suite of Virtual Sports offerings will be implemented in more than 4,500 OPAP venues in 2017.
Inspired made an exclusive deal with the leading casino provider on the territory of Macau and the Asia Pacific region, namely LT Game Macau. This partnership will bring about the deployment of Inspired’s Virtual Sports products to LT Game’s ETG self-service terminals.
In 2016, Inspired launched its suite of Mike Tyson-branded boxing products on the territory of the UK in partnership with popular casino and sports betting provider Betfred. As a result, Inspired’s Mike Tyson Slots, Roulette and Blackjack products are on offer online and in retail. The year of 2017 is to mark the launch of Mike Tyson Rush Virtual Boxing which is expected to become available in a number of countries.
Another notable achievement for Inspired was the expansion into mobile gaming, marked by its launch of HTML5 slot games and on-demand Virtual Sports. The company’s mobile games are presently available to UK customers via leading online gambling operators the likes of Betfred, Bet365, Ladbrokes, and Paddy Power. Another key operator, Gala Coral, will also integrate Inspired’s Virgo Open Mobile Gaming platform into its own Open RGS.
