phil_ivey_4The greatest poker player alive – Phil Ivey, who can take pride in having won ten bracelets, used his profile in the social networks to congratulate Pala Interactive on the recent launch of its website in New Jersey.

Ivey is not among the players who pay compliments to gaming platforms, so when he makes such an announcement, gambling communities definitely notice it.

Such an exclusive thing happened two days ago when Ivey announced that he truly supports the launch of PalaCasino.com. Via his Twitter account, the poker legend said that Pala Interactive have succeeded in providing players with a high quality product and encouraged his fans and followers to check out the games available.

Pala Casino has recently entered the New Jersey’s regulated market and became famous for being the first tribal casino to be approved by regulators. Its managers announced that they will work in collaboration with Borgata Casino and Hotel. Pala’s managers are also impatient to release another platform that is supposed to offer poker games but the launch was postponed for the beginning of 2015.

Managers of Pala Interactive are determined to go even further and become available in the state of California. California regulators are expected to approve of the online poker activities anytime soon, which made Pala Interactive believe that the chances to release its products on California market are really high.

As far as Ivey’s announcement is concerned, those who are familiar with his biography know that last year he joined the team of Pala Interactive. Phil Ivey was company’s brand ambassador.

However, he was responsible only for company’s gaming affairs in California. Although the contract could have been extended and Ivey, therefore, given more responsibilities, Pala’s managers decided not to include any other states Ivey to be in charge of.

No detailed information about the contract termination was given, which made room for speculations. Rumor has it that Pala Casino and the poker pro parted ways at the beginning of November when it was announced that Pala Casino had inked a deal with Borgata Casino and Hotel.

Despite being described as one of the best poker players of all times, Ivey has blackened his name by being involved in giant cheating scandals. Atlantic City casino as well as Borgata accused Ivey of having used dishonest tactics for his own benefit, which helped him win an impressive sum of money. A few months ago, Ivey got involved in a similar scandal but this time, a London-based casino accused him of cheating.

Bearing in mind all facts, mentioned above, it does not seem like Ivey has any financial benefit from supporting Pala Interactive. Actually, his reasons are most probably predominantly emotional.
