Reels, lines and stake controls

The reel screen shows 25 selected lines and 10 coins per line, giving a total stake of 250 coins. At the displayed 0.01 coin value, that is 2.50 in the selected currency, not a 250-currency-unit bet. The paytable screenshot uses different controls: one line and one coin. Always read the stake alongside the payout screen.

Verified line payouts

Ordinary line wins pay left to right on selected lines, and only the highest win pays per selected line. The help says all line awards are multiplied by coins staked per line; scatters are the exception and use the total bet. The following entries are paytable multipliers of the line stake.

For example, five suns on an active line at 10 coins per line pay 1,000 × 10 = 10,000 coins. At coin value 0.01, that is 100 currency units. It is one line award; it is not multiplied again by the number of selected lines. These are arithmetic examples, not observed or guaranteed outcomes.

Wild symbol and substitution

The Starscape logo substitutes for all symbols except the pictured scatter/bonus symbol. The help states that a win is doubled when the logo substitutes. A natural five-logo line has its own 7,000 entry; it should not be doubled simply because logos are wild. At 10 coins per line, that entry becomes 70,000 coins, explaining the pictured headline. This is a line-award example for the archived settings, not an independently established maximum for every version.

Scatter awards and the Starscape bonus

Two, three, four or five scattered bonus symbols pay 2, 3, 10 or 100 times the total bet respectively. Three, four or five also trigger the Starscape bonus. Scatter wins are added to line wins. At the pictured 250-coin total bet, two scatters pay 500 coins; at 0.01 per coin, that is 5 currency units.

The bonus instructions say to match four of the same symbol and find a multiplier to boost winnings. They state that amounts shown inside the bonus have already been multiplied by the total bet, and that bonus wins are added to payline wins. Do not multiply an already displayed bonus award by the stake a second time. The screenshot advertises up to 37,500 coins for this feature, but does not establish a universal currency ceiling or the frequency of that result.

Edition and evidence limits

KeyToCasinos identifies the game as Microgaming’s Starscape and dates its release to June 2006. Both screenshots show the same Starscape interface. The visible controls and help support the rules above; they do not verify a current RTP setting, current operator availability or limits in later editions. Check the help panel of the version actually offered before playing.

Starscape questions

How many paylines does Starscape have?

The documented edition has up to 25 selectable paylines.

Does a 250-coin bet mean 250 currency units?

No. Multiply the coin count by coin value. At 0.01 per coin, 250 coins cost 2.50 currency units.

Are line awards based on the total bet?

No. Ordinary line awards use coins staked per line. Scatter awards use the total bet.

Can the wild replace the scatter?

No. The pictured scatter/bonus symbol is expressly excluded from substitution.

Do two scatters trigger the bonus?

No. They pay twice the total bet, but the bonus requires three, four or five scatters.

Should a displayed bonus prize be multiplied by the stake again?

No. The archived help says bonus amounts already include the total-bet multiplier.
