London, Las Vegas, and Macau will be the most exciting destinations where poker festivals are set to kick off in over the course of the next few days. Emblematic casinos will offer fans of the game the chance to take part in tournaments of different kind and to win a portion of massive prize pools. Here are this week’s most noteworthy events from the poker world and a little bit more information about what those interested to participate could expect.

PokerStars Festival London

The emblematic Hippodrome Casino in London’s West End will play host to the next PokerStars Festival. The major poker event will take place from January 22-28 and will feature both tournament poker and cash game options for every taste.

The £330 buy-in London Cup, slated for January 27-28, the £2,200 PokerStars Festival High Roller (January 23-24), and the opening £170 Super Deep Stack are few of the exciting tournaments scheduled to take place within the upcoming PokerStars Festival London. The Main Event will take place over January 24-28. It will feature a £990 buy-in fee and a guaranteed prize pool of £500,000.

Fans of cash game poker will be treated to No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, Dealer’s Choice, and Mixed games of different stakes and different limits.

Wynn Signature Weekend

Wynn Las Vegas, one of the jewels of the Las Vegas Strip, will welcome players for a weekend full of tournament poker action. The Wynn Signature Weekend will be held from January 24 through January 28 and will feature three different No-Limit Hold’em tournaments.

The festival will open with a single-day $400 No-Limit Hold’em with a guaranteed prize pool of $30,000. The four-day Main Event will kick off on the very next day. Players will be able to enter it by paying a $600 buy-in fee, and they will have the chance to win a portion of a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000. The Wynn Signature Weekend will then be closed with a $300 No-Limit Hold’em Survivor with a guaranteed prize pool of $20,000.

Macau Poker Cup 28

The PokerStars LIVE poker room at City of Dreams Macau will once again be packed with players from the Asia-Pacific region and the rest of the world for another edition of the Macau Poker Cup. The 28th edition of the festival will run from January 26 through February 11.

Its schedule includes 31 events and a number of satellites. Buy-ins for the tournaments range from HK$500 all the way up to HK$100,000. There will be several high rollers to take place within the festival, including a HK$25,000 with a guaranteed prize pool of HK$3 million, a HK$50,000, a HK$80,000 one, and a $100,000 one. The latter two will feature a shot clock for extra excitement.

The now legendary HK$15,000 Red Dragon is set to kick off on February 4. The tournament will feature a massive guaranteed prize pool of HK$10 million. Chinese player Qiuming Qin won the Red Dragon during the Macau Poker Cup 27 back in September. The player collected HK$3,141,000 for topping a field of 1,308 entries.

Grosvenor UK Poker Tour London

The UK capital will be host to another major poker festival. The London leg of the GUKPT will begin on January 28 and will be completed on February 4. Grosvenor Victoria Casino will host the festival and all the players who are interested in participating in it.

The GUKPT London schedule will include 11 different events. The £1,100 Main Event will kick off on February 1 with the first of two starting flights. It will feature two more days of play and will be completed on February 4. It is also important to note that the tournament will offer a guaranteed prize pool of £200,000.
