Scientific Games – a company producing high security lottery products and services, renewed its contracts with the National Lottery of Slovakia and Colorado Lottery and will continue providing them with consultancy and instant games.
Scientific Games provides its services to lottery and gaming organizations throughout the world. Since its establishment exactly four decades ago, it has grown into one of the leading companies for security tools, software and now online applications.
Back in the 70’s, there were only thirteen states which had lottery and were mostly managed as small back-office establishments and by staff, appointed by the states, that had experience in law enforcement. Since then, the company has changed the way lottery works in the United States. In 2007 the New York Times praised it for changing the lottery system from being known ‘historically as an underground operation run by mobsters’ into ‘a lucrative, state-sponsored corporate enterprise.’
The company is headquartered in New York City. Products include lottery games, gaming terminals, systems and services, internet applications, gaming control systems and server-based interactive gaming terminals.
This US-based company has a contract with the Slovakian National Lottery since 2005 and has extended its partnership with the Slovakian TIPOS for 4 more years. TIPOS’ director commented that the association with Scientific Gaming has been a major factor for increasing the revenue from the ‘instant product category’. Mr. Kriska added that the sales from this market have gone up by 35% for the last 3 years. He is looking forward to expanding the product portfolio and providing even better entertainment for the players.
Mr. Schulz from Scientific Gaming also added that their company will continue working on offering innovative games and top-notch product portfolio processing, providing higher revenue for the National Lottery of Slovakia. He further added that they are happy to continue their success in the country and are looking forward to other prospective European markets where ‘instant category growth’ is waiting to be developed.
Extending Contracts with Colorado Lottery
Scientific Gaming renewed its contract with the Lottery of Colorado as well. The contract will be extended for three more years. This partnership has been maintained for the amazing 31 years. The Director of the Colorado Lottery said that the partnership has been maintained by just one instant game, which have brought joy to numerous players.
The Senior Vice President of Scientific Games explained that the company strives to maintain long-term partnerships, which are ensured by the company’s effective and secure ‘instant game portfolio’.

There are currently 44 States, which have lotteries, and the Government has totaled more than 30% of the $50 billion in revenue from them.
