WSOP Officials Reveal Details about the Next Tournament

World-Series-of-PokerOrganizers of World Series of Poker surprised the fans by announcing the dates for the 2015 WSOP in Las Vegas. The event will be held from May 27th to July 14th and the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino will play host to the tournament.

This will be the 46th time when the tournament takes place and the culmination will be the Main Event with a prize pool, amounting to $10 million.

Despite the fact that the complete schedule of the tournament will be revealed sometime in January, the WSOP officials announced essential information about the event. The Main Event will start on July 5th and it is supposed to end on July 15th.

The November Nine will be announced on the previous day, July 14th. As mentioned above, the winner will get the sum of $10 million.

Ty Stewart, the Executive Director of WSOP, announced that the Monster Stack and the Millionaire Maker are back on the schedule in 2015 since they drew players’ attention during the 2014 WSOP event. In addition, mixed games will also be available.

Stewart also added that organizers truly believe that WSOP is an event which can change someone’s life in a positive manner. Plus, it is an invaluable experience for every player who would like to improve their skills and strategy by playing against the most notable poker players on a global scale.

For the time being, there are six confirmed starting dates for the 2015 WSOP events.

The Millionaire Maker will be held on 5th and 6th of June and the winner will get the guaranteed sum of $1 million. Next comes the Monster Stack that is to be held on 12th and 13th of June. The Seniors Championship and the Ladies Championship will take place on June 19th and 25th respectively.

The latter one gives a privilege to ladies who will be enabled to get 90% discount on entering the tournament.

The last two officially confirmed dates were June 28th and June 30th when the ONE DROP High Roller and Little One for ONE DROP are to be held.

Fans of WSOP will have one more reason to take part in the tournament. Organizers revealed that a new thrilling event is also included in the 2015 WSOP schedule. It is named The Colossus and it is believed to catch players’ attention because of the low price tag equal to $565 and the guaranteed prize pool, amounting to $5 million.

According to Stewart, no other tournament than the WSOP and The Colossus in particular, is capable of featuring such an impressive prize pool at such a low buy-in level.

Needless to say, the WSOP will offer various cash games, deep stack tournaments, etc. Organizers promise that there will be a gripping event going on round the clock.
