Betclic to Go Live with Red Rake Gaming Content

News

Online casino games developer and supplier Red Rake Gaming today announced that it has clinched another important partnership that would help it extend its footprint. The company has signed a content supply deal with French gambling operator Betclic Group.

The deal will provide the operator with access to Red Rake Gaming’s entire portfolio of casino games including its newest releases Bonnie & Clyde, Knights, and The Travels of Marco as well as Super12Stars, which quickly turned into the supplier’s highest grossing game to have been rolled out this year.

Commenting on today’s announcement, François Dogon, Casino Games Specialist at Betclic, said that they are looking forward to working with Red Rake Gaming and that their partnership with the supplier will provide them with “access to a variety of leading games content that we think brings an element of quality to our Casino offer.” Mr. Dogon added that their new partner’s titles will certainly have a positive effect on his company’s growth.

The announcement about Red Rake Gaming’s content deal with Betclic arrived just days after the supplier unveiled a similar deal with Novibet.

Red Rake Gaming’s newest partner, Betclic, has solid presence in the Portuguese online gambling market, which the provider has been looking to extend its footprint in.

Portuguese Expansion

Red Rake Gaming debuted its content in Portugal earlier this year through a partnership with Bet Entertainment Technologies, the operator of the Bet.pt gambling website. Delivering online slots to Betclic, the supplier will be able to further cement itself in that regulated jurisdiction.

Betclic was the first operator to receive a license from the Portuguese gambling regulator, SRIJ, under Portugal’s new gambling law, which took effect in 2015 to reorganize the local digital gaming and betting space and enable foreign companies to operate in a regulated environment.

Betclic received a license for the provision of online sports betting services to Portuguese bettors in May 2016. A few months later, the French gambling group obtained an online casino gaming license to provide casino games and online poker in the then newly regulated field.

Red Rake Gaming has been looking to solidify its position in multiple regulated markets, including the Portuguese one.

Commenting on their recent deal with Betclic, Nick Barr, Managing Director for Red Rake Gaming’s Malta operation, said that they are “pleased to welcome the Betclic Group” to their family and that the operator’s brands have been offering players “the best of breed in products and it is terrific to see Red Rake Gaming in this category.”

Mr. Barr further elaborated that the partnership will solidify his company’s approach toward expanding into regulated markets. The official also pointed out that Portugal has fast become a significant market for them and that they are looking forward to “continuing to drive our ever-growing position there.”

Earlier this year, the casino content supplier obtained a license from the Malta Gaming Authority, thus reaching another important milestone in its growth and geographical expansion strategy.
