Soon New York will have its first official casino school. The Big Deal Casino Academy, which is situated on 28th Street and 5th Avenue, will become a licensed school where everyone will have the chance to receive a special training.
Thanks to this training, all students will be able to work in the currently operating casinos of New York City, as well as in those which will open in the future. The Big Deal Casino Academy is expected to open doors next week, after it receives approval from the New York State Education Department.
The Academy is planning to work with all casinos which are located close to the city, including those in Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pensylvania, etc. Big Deal is also planning to establish relations with the three new casinos, from upstate which will create job positions for approximately 4,000 people. The employees will probably be paid $20-$40 an hour. After the students receive a certificate from the Big Deal Casino Academy, they will be able to work in all casinos around the country, as well as train in the local area.
The students will have the opportunity to choose training in one of the following casino games: Poker, Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Spanish 21 and Carnival games. All students will receive instructions from professionals who have experience in the casino industry. In order to become certified specialists, however, the students must complete two main disciplines. Only after they do that, they will receive a certificate.
The students of the Academy will also learn some special skills. Catching cheats will be only one of them. After the completion of the training, the students will be able to recognize the gamblers who cheat through body language and strange behavior. The new professional dealers will have to learn to keep an eye on the game and never lose focus, because some gamblers are always looking for an opening.
The Big Deal Casino Academy will also offer classes to those people who want to learn how to play some of the most popular casino games. Wall Streeters, on the other hand, can take advantage of the special game theory courses. Except everything else, Big Deal will also be hosting a lot of interesting events, including exciting holiday and bachelor parties as well as special Casino Event Nights.
The new casino school of New York will have a roulette, craps tables, three poker tables, eight blackjack tables and many more. The Big Deal Casino Academy will give a chance to many people from the region to build a new career. The price of the classes will be approximately $395. The Introductory course will be around two weeks, while the Craps course will be two months.
