Provider of online casino content Playson has boosted its presence in the Italian gambling market through a deal with locally licensed operator Betflag.
This is the second content supply deal announced by the iGaming brand in the past few days. Last week, Betflag revealed a partnership with Habanero to go live with the provider’s full library of certified Italian portfolio, including slots and table games.
Under its deal with Betflag, Playson will see a selection of its online slots go live with the Italian operator. Betflag and its Italian players will thus have access to the supplier’s Timeless Fruit Slots series as well as its latest releases Book of Gold: Classic, Mighty Africa, and Wild Warriors.
The latest content supply deal will further strengthen Playson’s Italian stronghold. The company made its first foray into Italy back in the spring of 2017 when it aligned with local operator Microgame to supply its portfolio which then included more than 35 online slots.
Of their most recent Italy-facing deal, Playson Senior Account Manager Christos Zoulianitis said that they are delighted to have teamed up with Betflag, which is a company that has been increasing its Italian operation rapidly.
Mr. Zoulianitis added that their games have proven to be very successful in Italy and that they cannot wait to provide Betflag customers with access to their portfolio of titles. The roll-out of Playson games with Betflag is expected to take place over the coming months, it also became known.
A Period of Commercial Growth
Playson’s latest deal marked a strong period of commercial growth for the company. Over the past several months, the content supplier has signed several important deals offering access to its content to a number of major online gambling operators.
In May, Playson boasted roll-out of its titles with mobile-focused online gambling operator LeoVegas. The Malta-based provider’s full portfolio of slots went live with one of the fastest growing B2C companies in the iGaming world.
Last month, Playson announced that it would expand its presence in Lithuania and the Baltics, as a whole, through a commercial deal with Lithuania-licensed operator TOPsport. An agreement announced just a few days ago would further cement the supplier’s position in the Baltic iGaming market. It was announced that Playson’s slots library will go live with Latvian operator Klondaika.
Earlier this month, Playson was granted an operational license by the Romanian gambling regulator (ONJN) to provide its content in the local market, marking another milestone in its expansion strategy.
Betflag has, too, had busy time lately. As mentioned earlier, it was just days ago when the operator announced that it would boost its existing offering with content by iGaming supplier Habanero. The deal will see Betflag go live with some of Habanero’s most popular gaming titles, while the provider further solidifies its reputation in the lucrative Italian online casino space.
