888casino has launched its recently revamped New Jersey-facing website, showcasing a new look and feel and providing local customers with enhanced functionalities and experience.
The upgraded operation is now available across desktop as well as iOS and Android devices, online gambling operator 888 said in a press release distributed Monday.
888casino was among the early entries in New Jersey’s regulated online gambling market. The international brand was certified to enter the local iGaming space in 2015.
According to 888casino’s Monday press release, the revamped website offers user-friendly navigation, rich audio-visuals, and a hefty portfolio of online casino games, among other improvements. The operator actually boosted the website’s existing offering with the addition of 35 new slots.
Including the latest games, 888casino’s New Jersey website now features a wide selection of slot titles, live casino games, online variants of traditional table games as well as card games. The operation’s library includes leading titles by international content providers such as NetEnt, Evolution Gaming, SG Digital, and IGT, among others.
888casino operates in New Jersey in partnership with the online gambling division of Las Vegas casino giant Caesars Entertainment Corp. Caesars operates three land-based casinos on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
As mentioned earlier, 888casino launched in New Jersey in 2015. Prior to that, 888 had gone live in the state with its online poker product.
”Proud of Our Technological Edge”
Commenting on the recent revamp of their New Jersey website, 888casino SVP of B2C Guy Cohen said Monday that they are “proud of our technological edge in the gaming market.” Mr. Cohen added that the latest version of their casino website “guarantees fully immersive player experience with cutting-edge functionality and an intelligent design.”
Aside from New Jersey, the 888 brand is also currently present in the regulated Nevada and Delaware online gambling markets.
In addition, 888 quickly tapped into the US sports betting market, following last year’s ruling of the US Supreme Court that lifted a federal ban on the practice.
Last year, the Gibraltar-headquartered online gambling operator expanded its presence in New Jersey with the launch of sports betting operations. The start of its regulated sports betting business in New Jersey also represented extension of the company’s existing relationship with Caesars.
888 took its first bet in New Jersey in early September to become the seventh entry into the state’s newly opened sports gambling space. The company partnered another European gambling operation with US expansion appetites – Kambi Group. The technology provider joined forces with 888 to become its official New Jersey sports betting partner. Kambi is also the platform provider behind PlaySugarHouse and DraftKings.
