Online casino software provider Red Tiger has rolled out its content with a second Swiss casino as part of its effort to expand across Switzerland’s newly reorganized online gambling market.
In a press release from earlier today, Red Tiger announced that a selection of its games is now live with mycasino.ch, the online casino brand of Grand Casino Luzern.
Switzerland’s new gambling law took effect this past January. It authorized the nation’s land-based casinos to go live with online gambling. International companies were banned from operating standalone online casinos, but they can form partnerships with local casinos under the new regulatory regime.
Grand Casino Luzern was among the first four brick-and-mortar facilities to be licensed by Swiss authorities to operate online gambling. The property launched its mycasino.ch operation in early July to step into the iGaming space.
Under Grand Casino Luzern’s content supply deal with Red Tiger, the provider has offered the casino access to some of its award-winning titles, including Pirates’ Plenty, Mystery Reels, and the more recent release Jack in a Pot.
Red Tiger first revealed its ambitions for Swiss expansion this past April, when the supplier announced that 30 of its titles had been certified by local regulators and would be available for roll-out to locally licensed operators of online casinos.
Of their Grand Casino Luzern commercial deal, Red Tiger’s Commercial Director, Chris Looney, said today that they are delighted to be launching their titles with the Swiss casino. He added that they are always looking to expand across “exciting new markets such as Switzerland” and that they are proud to have partnered a “well-known, reputable brand.”
Swiss Expansion
Wolfgang Bliem, CEO of Grand Casino Luzern, commented that Red Tiger’s slots have already created a significant fan base across Europe and that “it is a real coup to have access to them.” The casino executive added that the provider’s most recent titles “are proving to be real hits” and that they “can’t wait to see what else they have in store.”
Grand Casino Luzern has been the second Swiss brick-and-mortar casino Red Tiger has aligned with to enter and expand in the newly regulated market. Earlier this month, the company announced that its content has been rolled out with Grand Casino Baden and its online gaming operation jackpots.ch. The initial roll-out included 19 gaming titles, but more are expected to be added to the online casino’s offering.
Prior to venturing into the real-money gaming space, jackpots.ch had operated as a social casino and had enjoyed massive interest among Swiss players.
Last week, Red Tiger released its latest slot game – Pirates’ Plenty – Battle For Gold – to celebrate an important milestone. The 5×3-reel slot aims to build on the success of its predecessor – Pirates’ Plenty – The Sunken Treasure – and is the 100th title in Red Tiger’s portfolio.
