In a press release on its official website published Tuesday, Red Rake said that it has penned a social casino deal with US-based company Wind Creek Hospitality, the casino and hospitality division of Alabama-based Poarch Band of Creek Indians.
The tribal casino operator manages gambling venues in its home state Alabama as well as in Pennsylvania, where it recently purchased the former Sands Bethlehem resort in a $1.3 billion deal, Nevada, Aruba and Curacao.
Under the terms of the recently sealed deal, Wind Creek Hospitality will gain access to Red Rake’s full games library, which includes online slots, table games, and video bingo. The content studio’s titles will become available to customers of Wind Creek Hospitality’s social casino WindCreekCasino.com. The games are expected to be rolled out in the coming weeks.
As mentioned earlier, Wind Creek Hospitality is the first social casino client of the Spanish online casino content supplier, which recently relocated a substantial portion of its business in Malta where it also obtain a license from the local gambling regulator MGA.
Foundation for Entry into Another Great Regulated Market
Commenting on their deal with Wind Creek Hospitality, Nick Barr, Managing Director of Red Rake Gaming Malta, said that they are “honored to work alongside Wind Creek in their social casino business.”
Mr. Barr also added that the partnership between his company and the tribal casino operator is important to Red Rake not only because it has secured its first social casino partner, “but also because it is the foundation of what we expect to be another great regulated market for us in terms of real money.”
In other words, Red Rake is clearly eyeing an entry into the regulated US online casino market and its deal with Wind Creek has laid the foundation for the provider’s potential expansion into that segment.
Wind Creek Hospitality Vice President of Game Operations Ron Nesbitt said that their social casino gaming operation aims to provide their customers with engaging and interactive experience and “has proven to be an excellent retention tool” over the years.
It was in 2014 when Wind Creek Hospitality first announced plans to delve into the social gaming vertical through the acquisition of majority interest in the C2Rewards social gaming platform. The deal resulted in the formation of Engage Innovation, an operation focused on further developing and marketing the C2Rewads social casino platform.
Of the addition of Red Rake titles to their social casino, Mr. Nesbitt said that they are delighted to enhance their offering and that Red Rake’s content is “very strong, with high quality graphics, action packed feature games, and immersive bonus rounds” and that paired with their rewards program, Red Rake’s titles will “help us ensure a fantastic player experience.”
