Days after its entry into the regulated online gambling market of Switzerland, supplier of casino content Greentube announced that it has expanded its Swiss presence with the rollout of its titles with Grand Casino Baden.
Under a partnership between Grand Casino Baden and Greentube, the Swiss land-based casino has gained access to a selection of the provider’s popular land-based titles, including Golden Games’ Super Cherry Slots, known to be a hit among Swiss casino floor patrons.
In addition, a selection of Greentube’s online slots has also gone live with Grand Casino Baden’s online casino operation, jackpots.ch.
Following the reorganization of the Swiss online gambling market, Grand Casino Baden was the first local brick-and-mortar property to launch an online casino under the new rules. That happened in early July when the nation’s gambling regulator SBK (Eidgenössische Spielbankenkommission) authorized the start of regulated digital gambling.
Grand Casino Baden’s online gaming operation – jackpots.ch – is powered by Gamanza’s platform and related technology and regulatory data storage solution.
Commenting on their expansion in the Swiss iGaming space, Greentube Head of Sales Daniel Lechner said that “partnering with Grand Casino Baden is an important step for Greentube, as we expand into Switzerland’s online market.”
Mr. Lechner added that with NOVOMATIC, Greentube’s parent company, “being the clear leader with land-based casino slots”, the online gaming content provider has been allowed “to rapidly secure major partnerships with leading operators.”
A Second Partnership
Greentube was among the first online gaming content suppliers to be authorized to roll out their content across the Swiss market. Earlier this month, the company entered the local regulated space through a deal with Grand Casino Luzern and its digital gambling operation, mycasino.ch.
Greentube was able to launch content in the local market after successfully completing a required ISO audit. The initial rollout of content with Grand Casino Luzern included 50 gaming titles.
The online casino provider benefited from its partnership with online gambling operator Paf, which is its direct partner in Finland, Latvia, and Estonia, and has been selected by Grand Casino Luzern as its online casino partner.
Greentube said that the integration of its content with its second partner, Grand Casino Baden, will be followed by more integrations with new partners as more major operators are looking to obtain online gaming licenses from Swiss regulators.
Of the launch of content by Greentube, Grand Casino Baden CFO Marcel Tobler said that “providing our customers with famous Swiss games such as Super Cherry Slots will serve as a great advantage” as they grow their online casino brand.
The official went on that “Greentube’s portfolio of iconic titles perfectly fits our player profile and we look forward to offering our customers some of the most popular slot games in the market.”
