Jim is back and ready for a new adventure in the second chapter of Microgaming’s Jungle Jim slot series. This time he has set for a trip to unravel ancient Egypt’s mysteries and discover a lost sphinx.
Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx is the second installment in the Jungle Jim slot series. Microgaming’s original Jingle Jim title was released in 2016 and featured the adventurous archaeologist’s epic quest for the lost treasure in El Dorado.
Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx is a five-by-four reel, 35 payline online slot. The game is packed with features that increase the thrill of playing it to levels that equal a real trip across the mysterious sands of Egypt.
At key stages of the game, the grid enhances to five-by-five reels and 50 paylines. The latest Jungle Jim game includes Microgaming’s Rolling Reels feature and Win Booster mechanics as well as a multiplier trail, conveniently sat above the reels, that increases during free spins.
The base game opens to a five-by-four reel grid and a multiplier trail of up to 10x a player’s bet. Each successive win sees Rolling Reels blast away winning symbols as new symbols land on the reels. This creates potential for more increasing multipliers and further wins.
Unlocking the Additional 15 Paylines
When three scatter symbols hit the reels, players are invited to join Jim as he descends into a five-by-five reel, 50 payline chamber of the Lost Sphinx. Players are awarded 12 free spins, while the multiplier trail rises to up to 20x.
During the free spins feature, golden Sphinx symbols landing on the center reel help players to reach the coveted 20x multiplier. Each Sphinx symbol collected gives an additional free spin and upgrades the multiplier trail to a higher level.
Players can increase the frequency of the free spins feature by triggering Win Booster, during which they only need two scatter symbols to access free spins.
Jungle Jim was exclusively developed by Stormcraft Studios and is now available to Microgaming operators.

Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx was the first slot to be released by Microgaming this month and follows the launch of the Long Mu Fortunes, A Dark Matter, and 9 Masks of Fire titles in October.
