Online casino and sports betting operator Soft2Bet has been granted license approval from the Swedish Gambling Authority to go live and operate in the Scandinavian nation’s recently reorganized iGaming market.
The gambling company announced that after receiving license from Spelinspektionen it has been able to launch two of its leading brands in the local gaming space, with those being YoYo casino and CampoBet.
Both YoYo and CampoBet as well as Soft2Bet’s platform have been certified by independent gaming test laboratory BMM Testlabs. The two brands have undergone several successful inspections and audits and are now fully compliant to provide their products to Swedish gambling customers.
Soft2Bet’s recent entry in Sweden was the latest milestone achieved as the gambling company looks to extend its global footprint across several emerging regions.
Commenting on the announcement, Uri Poliavich, Chief Operating Officer of Soft2Bet, said that Spelinspektionen issuing a license to the company “is a historical moment” and that their team has put in a lot of effort to “qualify for all the requirements and meet all the deadline.”
Mr. Poliavich went on that “this achievement is a product of uncompromising dedication and is another great accomplishment for our executives and our team.”
Swedish License Part of Expansion Strategy
Headquartered in Nicosia, Cyprus, Soft2Bet had previously obtained licenses from the Malta Gaming Authority and the government of Curacao. Now, as the company is licensed and certified to operate in the highly lucrative Swedish market, it has set sights on expanding across other EU jurisdictions.
Soft2Bet was launched in 2012. The company owns and operates more than ten online casino and sports betting brands that offer exclusive in-house built content as well as popular games by major industry suppliers.
Malina, Buran, YoYo, BoaBoa, ALF, LibraBet, LightCasino, and new addition Nomini are just a handful of the brands currently operated by Soft2Bet. The online casino and betting operations are available in a number of languages and offer online slots, jackpot titles, live casino games, and sports betting.
Soft2Bet’s casinos feature content by more than 69 providers and have over 100,000 active customers and 3,000 affiliates referring players and bettors through the operator’s own 7Stars Partners affiliate program.
Late last month, Soft2Bet announced that it has teamed up with Swedish online payment processor Bambora to gain access to its powerful PaymentIQ platform. The company said that the PaymentIQ integration was prompted by its strategy to “proactively increase acceptance rates, efficiently detect fraud, provide more payment options, and speed up its business growth.”
The rapidly growing operator also noted that as it is expanding its presence across Europe, its partnership with Bambora would enable it to enhance its ability to process large transaction volumes across regulated markets.
