NetEnt Launches NetEnt Connect Online Casino Content Aggregator

News

Swedish online gaming provider NetEnt has enhanced its roster of solutions for the iGaming industry with the recent launch of its NetEnt Connect content aggregation platform.

The NetEnt Connect platform now features proprietary content by the Swedish supplier as well as titles by Red Tiger.

News about NetEnt’s content aggregator emerged just a few months after the company acquired Red Tiger in a £200 million deal. Announcing the acquisition in early September, NetEnt said that the deal would enable it to capitalize on Red Tiger’s scalable technology and help it deliver on its ambition to “create the future of gaming.”

NetEnt has said that its new NetEnt Connect content aggregator has initially begun operations in a closed beta form with Casino Room, an online gaming brand operated by Ellmount Gaming Ltd. More operators will be able to tap the platform in the coming weeks and months.

The aggregator was designed to make use of NetEnt’s wide and far-reaching customer relationship and integrations in a number of regulated markets. The platform also uses NetEnt’s own bonus and gamification engine, NetEnt Engage, as well as content by multiple other integrated partner game suppliers.

The newly acquired Red Tiger was the first game supplier to have launched its games with NetEnt Connect.

Wider Launch Taking Place in Early 2020

With the beta launch of its content aggregator, NetEnt will be able to validate and monitor the performance of NetEnt Connect over the next few weeks. A broader launch is scheduled for early 2020, the Swedish games provider has noted.

The NetEnt Connect aggregator will be rolled out to customers market by market and its official launch will include content by several already integrated third-party partner game suppliers.

Commenting to the latest addition to their portfolio of iGaming solutions, NetEnt Malta Managing Director and Chief Product Officer Henrik Fagerlund said that the speed with which they have been able to launch Red Tiger content on some of NetEnt’s customers “bears testament to the hard work and collaboration since the acquisition was completed” and that it also “shows great promise for NetEnt Connect which is a key part of NetEnt strategy going forward.”

Red Tiger’s CEO, Gavin Hamilton, added that tapping into NetEnt’s “reach and markets it has built up” was among the key incentives to work with them. Mr. Hamilton also noted that he is very excited the early collaboration between Red Tiger and its new parent company has resulted in Red Tiger’s games going live with existing NetEnt customers seamlessly.

Aside from boosting its product portfolio, NetEnt has also been busy with expanding in new jurisdictions. The company entered Pennsylvania’s online gambling market earlier this year, following the launch of the Keystone State’s first online casinos.
