In a busy week for the iGaming industry, the week ahead of this year’s ICE London conference and exhibition show, Isle of Man-headquartered casino content supplier Microgaming announced its latest major supply deal.
The company said this week that it has extended its existing deal with gambling group GVC Holdings to roll out its content library with more brands managed by the operator.
The recently penned deal paves the way for Microgaming to gradually roll out its casino offering with the Coral.com, Galacasino.com, Galabingo.com, Ladbrokes.com, and Betdaq.com websites throughout the year.
The agreement follows an original deal GVC signed with Microgaming in 2017. That first deal enabled Microgaming to launch its ever-growing content portfolio across GVC’s bwin, partycasino, and partypoker websites in some of the world’s largest regulated iGaming markets, including Spain, Italy, Belgium, and the UK.
GVC, which too is headquartered in Isle of Man, operates leading brands in the online and retail betting sectors in more than 20 jurisdictions. Its brands have a combined heritage of more than 250 years and boast millions of active customers.
With the extension of its existing partnership with Microgaming, GVC will now be able to further enhance its casino offering and provide customers with access to the content supplier’s exclusive content, including hit title Immortal Romance as well as other popular games such as Thunderstruck II, Jurassic World, and Lara Croft Temples and Tombs.
The deal also offers GVC and its brand access to top-performing games by a number of Microgaming’s content supplier partners.
Providing the Market with Immersive Experience
Commenting on the extension of their deal with GVC, Microgaming Chief Operating Officer Andrew Clucas said that with its big portfolio of brands, GVC is a partner for his company and that both the provider and the operator share a similar goal of providing the market with “immersive, entertainment-driven experience.”
GVC Director of Commercial Management Obdulio Bacarese said that as players’ expectations continuously evolve, “it is imperative we continue to keep up with their demands and what better way to do so than partnering with Microgaming.”
The official added that the provider boasts “immense experience, reputation and performance in delivering quality and innovative content” and they are looking forward to roll out its content across their brands over the next few months.
Earlier this week, Microgaming announced that it has extended one more important relationship. The company secured extension of its previously penned licensing agreement with Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc. to produce a second Tarzan branded online slot.
Microgaming’s original Tarzan game launched in late 2016. The new slot starring the beloved vine swinging hero will be debuted during ICE London next week. The game has been built from scratch by Fortune Factory Studios, one of the independent game development studios that produce content exclusively for Microgaming.
