After deepening its existing relationship with GVC Holdings, gambling technology giant Playtech announced that it has also extended its long-term partnership with British bookmaker Betfred.
Under a recently penned deal with the gambling operator, Playtech will be providing Betfred with a wide selection of its diverse gambling products for another four years.
The agreement between the two companies will see the major provider deliver Casino, Live Casino, Bingo, and Poker services and content to Betfred on an exclusive basis in the UK. Playtech’s extended collaboration with the gambling operator will see the leading industry supplier gain even greater exposure that it already enjoys in the lucrative UK gambling market.
Playtech originally teamed up with Betfred more than a decade ago. The extended partnership between the two companies also involves extension of Betfred’s dedicated Live Casino space that was first unveiled two years ago at Playtech’s flagship Live Casino facility in the capital of Latvia, Riga.
Commenting on the extension of another long-standing business relationship, Playtech COO Shimon Akad said that they are delighted Betfred has “chosen to commit to an exclusive agreement across four key verticals.”
Mr. Akad went on that Betfred’s decision to invest in a Playtech-powered exclusive Live Casino space in 2018 “was a significant step in developing our working relationship, and has seen Betfred develop a highly compelling Live offering.”
An Exciting Growth Opportunity
Betfred Managing Director Rakesh Chablani commented that “the extension of our exclusive agreement for another four years represents an exciting opportunity to continue growing our business” and that they are passionate about “creating the best possible player experience across all verticals, and we’re confident that the continued development of our dedicated Live Casino space, plus an unparalleled selection of Casino, Bingo, and Poker content will allow us to do exactly that.”
News about Betfred’s new four-year deal with Playtech emerge shortly after the operator announced that it has gone live with a wide selection of online casino titles by Swedish provider NetEnt.
As mentioned earlier, Playtech this week unveiled the extension of one more important partnership it has been nurturing and growing for years now.
The gambling technology provider announced the launch of three new Live Roulette tables with gambling powerhouse GVC Holdings in Spain, a key growth market for both companies. The three new products are set to become available across GVC’s partycasino, partypoker, and bwin brands and will be hosted by native Spanish-speaking dealers 24/7.
The rollout of the Live Roulette tables came on the heels of GVC’s debut of Playtech’s Quantum Ruleta Live in Spain in December 2019. The title was the first Roulette game to become available in the Spanish iGaming market and to feature multiplier boosts during every game round as well as the unique special Quantum Boost and Quantum Leap events.
