Online casino games provider Playson is set to further expand its Italian footprint through a recent supply deal with local gambling operator Snaitech.
Snaitech is one of Italy’s largest gambling companies. Aside from its digital gaming business, it operates a retail network of more than 1,500 points of sale across Italy.
The operator was formed through the merger between Snai and Cogetech in 2015. In 2018, Snaitech was purchased by gambling technology giant Playtech.
As part of its recent deal with Playson, Snaitech will gain access to the content supplier’s full suite of online slots and will make these available to both its desktop and mobile players.
Snaitech will be able to offer top performing Playson titles such as Solar Queen, Solar Temple, and Pearl Beauty: Hold and Win as well as the provider’s hugely popular Timeless Fruit Slots series and Funky Fruits portfolio.
The Italian gambling operator will also be provided with access to Playson’s integration-free engagement tools that are designed to help operators improve player engagement. These include free spins, jackpots, and regular networkwide tournaments.
News about Playson’s partnership with Snaitech emerge shortly after the content provider announced a similar supply deal with young online casino brand Casino Days, owned and operated by the Rhino Entertainment iGaming group.
Fantastic Way to Strengthen European Position
Commenting on their latest alliance with an iGaming operator, Playson Senior Account Manager Christos Zoulianitis said that they are delighted to have signed a content distribution deal with one of “the key players in the Italian market.”
Mr. Zoulianitis added that this new partnership with Snaitech is a fantastic way for Playson to strengthen its position in Europe.
Snaitech BU Digital Director Alessandro Graziosi said that they pay close attention to the content partners they pick as they always strive to provide their players with a “gaming experience that is both immersive and sustainable at the same time.”
The Snaitech official went on to say that Playson guarantees all the fundamental requirements they have when it comes to iGaming content and that “in the context of our offer, it will certainly represent an added value.”
Playson currently delivers its content to operators servicing players in more than 17 regulated markets. The supplier’s portfolio comprises over 65 omni-channel titles. It has offices in Malta, Ukraine, the UK, and Greece.
Playson holds licenses from the UK Gambling Commission, the Romanian National Gambling Office, and the Malta Gaming Authority, and its games are certified by a number of other regulators.
Snaitech is the latest Italy-facing operator the supplier has recently teamed up with to grow its presence in that market. Earlier this year, Playson announced a content delivery deal with locally licensed operator FlashBet.
