For the 44-year-old resident of Gulfport, Miss. this is a very big achievement which will hopefully lead to many more. Moeini is known for being an active participant in the series until now, as he managed to score five Circuit cashes, three of which were with final tables. It has been more than two decades since the arrival of Moeini in US from Iran but over that time he managed to achieve a lot for himself. The WSOPC Biloxi Event winner has a wife and two children and he also owns a hotel. He is interested in different kinds of investments but at the moment his main priority is the National Championship. Along with Moeini, in this event will also participate Anthony Gary who is a Casino Champion. Anthony has two cashes in his career which brought him gold rings as well. He became Casino Champion after defeating Mark Fink.
Even though Mohammad Moeini appeared as the leader at the Main Event in Biloxi, the attention was still focused on Timothy Miles. He was the undisputed favourite for many people, as another gold ring owner and also because of his victory in Tampa at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open. Apparently that wasn’t enough to save Miles from losing to Newsome.
Along with Moeini, there were others who also won part of the prize like Daniel Lowery, Christopher Conrad, Tim Burt and Blake Barousse. The most notable run, however, was the one of Jerry Monroe who is a Biloxi champion from 2011. This Main Event put the end of the scheduled 12 others for gold rings in Biloxi. Although it attracted 301 different players, only the best 33 of them were paid at the end.
The results from the final table of WSOPC Biloxi Main Event reveal Mohammad Moeini as the ultimate leader, followed by Brandon Newsome in second place and Timothy Miles in third. Anthony Smith and Lance Jones occupy the fourth and fifth position.
The circuit action will continue in Horseshoe Casino in Southern Indiana on October 2 which is Thursday. This will be the first of another 12 events which will make many players compete for the gold ring.
