Focus On Brazil At SBC Summit Rio
The company will attend the third edition of SBC Summit Rio, scheduled to take place at Riocentro from March 3 to 5. Organisers expect more than 15,000 delegates as attention remains firmly on Brazil, currently the largest regulated market in Latin America. At stand A354, Pragmatic Play Sports will showcase its sports betting platform as the central feature of its exhibition presence.
The event follows immediately after CGS Rio, marking the start of a series of strategic gatherings across the region in which the supplier intends to participate in the coming months. Representatives from ARRISE supporting Pragmatic Play in Latin America will also be present, assisting with commercial discussions and partnerships. The team will introduce visitors to the provider’s multi-product range, which continues to perform strongly across the continent.
Gareth Crook, SVP of Sports at Pragmatic Play, stated: “SBC Summit Rio continues to grow in size and importance, reflecting the surge Brazil and the entire region are experiencing. With our Sports Betting platform taking centre stage, we are delighted to showcase the flexibility and performance of this solution, as well as capitalize on the strong momentum we have generated so far this year.”
Víctor Arias, vicepresidente de LATAM en ARRISE powering Pragmatic Play, added: “Latin America remains a key strategic region, especially now that Brazil’s regulated market continues to evolve. SBC Summit Rio offers an important opportunity to connect with partners, strengthen relationships and demonstrate the depth of Pragmatic Play’s portfolio. We expect it to be another successful event that drives further growth across the region.”
Spire+ Expands Arcade Portfolio
Alongside its event presence, Pragmatic Play has strengthened its arcade catalogue with the launch of Spire+. The ladder-style risk and reward title places players in front of a spire set against a night sky, where they must select boxes to advance through nine levels. Each successful step unlocks higher prize potential, with maximum rewards exceeding 250,000x.
Participants can secure accumulated winnings at any stage or continue climbing in pursuit of the top payout. Revealing a flaming skull ends the round instantly. Players may choose each box manually or activate a ‘Random’ option that determines progression automatically. Five selectable difficulty levels, from Easy to Master, alter the number of boxes and flaming skulls per stage. Greater difficulty increases the potential return but also raises the likelihood of an early loss.
The new release follows earlier arcade titles Mines+ and Plinko+, the latter recently enhanced with a multi-ball feature that allows up to 10 balls to be dropped on a single bet.
Sharon McHugh, Director of Public Relations at Pragmatic Play, commented: “Arcade games continue to grow in popularity, underpinned by fast-paced, intuitive, and customisable gameplay. Spire+ aligns with this trend, handing control to players with numerous configurable settings, alongside significant win potential.”
Rolling In Treasures Adds Progressive Mechanics
In the slots category, Pragmatic Play has unveiled Rolling in Treasures, a mining-themed release built around progressive tumbling multipliers. The 6×5 grid features symbols such as pickaxes, lanterns, and more within a cavern setting. Landing eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid can award up to 50x.
During base gameplay, a random multiplier can apply a 2x boost to new symbols that appear in a tumbling sequence. Each consecutive hit increases this value by +1x. Triggering four to six bonus symbols grants between 10 and 20 free spins. In the bonus round, the progressive multiplier does not reset between spins and continues to increase by +1x on subsequent tumbles.
In certain markets, players can access special bets that raise the likelihood of activating the bonus feature or ensure the multiplier applies on every winning spin. Bonus buy options are also available, including two Super Free Spins variants. One version increases the random multiplier feature by +3x per successive hit, while the other doubles multiplier values.
The slot joins recent releases Cyberheist City and Zeus vs Hades – Gods of War 250 as part of the supplier’s broader slots portfolio.
Sharon McHugh said: “Rolling in Treasures combines the ever-popular mining theme with the anticipation and excitement of progressive multipliers and a range of special bets, delivering an immersive gold rush experience packed with 5,000x win potential.”
As Pragmatic Play prepares for its Rio showcase, the simultaneous introduction of new arcade and slot titles signals continued expansion across multiple verticals.
