The company announced that it received Best Gaming Company of the Year, Best Slots Game Provider of the Year and Best Live Casino Product of the Year during the awards ceremony, describing the achievement as a hat-trick of victories.
The supplier thanked the event organisers following the ceremony and also congratulated the other companies recognised during the evening.
Three awards highlight supplier’s latest achievement
Held on 25 June 2026 at The Xara Lodge in Rabat, Malta’s Gaming Excellence Awards (MiGEA) brought together companies and professionals from across the gaming industry to celebrate achievements and recognise contributions to the sector.
The annual event has become one of Malta’s longest-running gaming awards programmes and has often been compared to “the Oscars of gaming.” Organisers describe the ceremony as an opportunity to reward companies and individuals that continue working to improve and innovate within the industry.
At this year’s event, Pragmatic Play emerged with three of the ceremony’s headline awards:
- Best Gaming Company of the Year
- Best Slots Game Provider of the Year
- Best Live Casino Product of the Year
The supplier shared the results shortly after the ceremony, thanking the organisers for hosting the event while extending congratulations to the other winners recognised during the evening.
The latest accolades add to Pragmatic Play’s growing list of industry awards across multiple product verticals, reflecting recognition for both its overall operations and individual gaming segments.
Fury of Anubis expands the slots portfolio
The awards come shortly after Pragmatic Play introduced Fury of Anubi, a new online slot inspired by ancient Egypt.
Released on 25 June 2026, the game uses a 6×5 tumbling-reels layout where eight or more matching symbols appearing anywhere on the reels create winning combinations. Each consecutive tumble increases a multiplier displayed above the reels, doubling its value until it reaches a maximum of 1,024x before resetting for the following spin.
Landing between three and six scatter symbols activates the bonus feature, awarding 10 free spins alongside a starting multiplier ranging from 8x to 64x. Before the feature begins, players have the option to gamble for entry in an attempt to double the awarded multiplier, potentially increasing it to as much as 256x.
In selected regulated markets, the title also includes several ante bet and bonus buy options designed to modify gameplay. These features can increase the starting multiplier during the base game to 1,024x, remove the multiplier cap or trigger the free spins feature with a randomly assigned minimum multiplier.
According to Pragmatic Play, Fury of Anubis offers win potential of up to 10,000x and joins recent slot releases including Jelly Express, Fortune of Olympus and Sweet Rush Bonanza.
Commenting on the game’s launch, Sharon McHugh, Director of Public Relations at Pragmatic Play, said: “Ancient Egypt continues to captivate players around the world, and Fury of Anubis brings a fresh perspective through its escalating multiplier mechanic and engaging free spins feature.
“With tumbling wins, a multiplier that can soar to 1,024x and the chance to enhance bonus game rewards before play begins, Fury of Anubis delivers a thrilling experience packed with excitement from start to finish.”
The combination of the supplier’s latest product launch and its three victories at the Malta iGaming Excellence Awards marks another milestone for Pragmatic Play as it continues expanding its portfolio across slots, live casino and other gaming verticals.
