Video-poker button names and positions vary. Read the labels and help screen before using a control, and confirm the total stake before starting a hand. Bet One Credit may increase the selected credit wager one step at a time. Bet Max selects the machine’s maximum permitted wager and may also start the hand immediately. Do not press it just to inspect the rules. The maximum can differ by game and denomination. Deal begins the initial hand. After that, Hold or Hold Cancel controls select which cards remain. A touch-screen game may let you tap the cards instead. Check every Held indicator. The cards marked Held are kept when you press Draw; unheld cards are replaced under the game rules. Button presses can fail or toggle a selection off, so read the screen rather than relying on memory. After a completed hand, the same Deal control may begin another wager using the previous stake. Check the amount before pressing it again. Cash Out requests withdrawal of the available balance, using the cabinet’s ticket, coin or account system. If a ticket fails or a Call Attendant message appears, ask staff for help. Avoid starting extra hands to clear an error. Set a spending limit and stop when you reach it.
