Joe Cada Leaves PokerStars; Takes Part in the Norwegian Poker Challenge Cruise

Lifestyle

Joe CadaJoe Cada became widely popular as the youngest player who has ever won the World Series of Poker Main Event, which enabled him to sign up a major contract with Norwegian Cruise Line.

2009 was the best year in his career and he became a poker star at the age of 21.

However, that is not everything Joe Cada is famous for. The contract with PokerStars brought him a significant income equal to more than $8 million. Later on, he acquired another WSOP bracelet and another impressive sum of $2 million.

Cada was not the only one who had an arrangement with PokerStars though. Alex Kravchenko and Marcel Luske did the same and all of a sudden the three poker stars found themselves dropped when their contracts expired. That happened at the same time when the Rational Group acquired Amaya Gaming.

Actually, the lack of official information gave room for different predictions and assumptions, all of which have concluded that the 2007’s winner of the main event Alex Kravchenko and the Netherlands money winner of all times Marcel Luske are no longer a part of the PokerStars’ team.

Despite the fact that the PokerStars representatives are tight-lipped, Joe Cada has officially announced in the social media that the collaboration between him and PokerStars is in the past: “If everyone is wondering what happened with PokerStars and myself, it’s pretty simple. I asked for 100% rake back, they said no.”

That’s not the first occasion when PokerStars and the players go their separate ways. A month ago Humberto Brenes, Angel Guillen and Jose Barbero put an end to their relationship with the most popular online platform.

It seems like the unpleasant situation Joe Cada and his colleagues are at is caused by the authorities’ desire to reduce the number of players, sponsored by websites.

Luckily, Cada has successfully recovered from the previous baffling events and in the middle of November he is supposed to leave Miami and start his Caribbean Cruise adventure on the board of the Norwegian Epic. Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel will be among the places where the Norwegian Poker Challenge Cruise will stop and the Main Event will take place.

Everyone who is interested in taking part of the Tournament has to complete a registration procedure. The deadline is November 9th , the date when the ship is going to embark. Running satellites, provided especially for the event by the Norwegian Cruise Line authorities will be available until the end of September so everyone should be able to fill in the registration form.

The fans of the event might be delighted to know that the details about the cruise, that is expected to last a bit more than a week, are currently talked over so everything should be ready by the beginning of November.
