With poker being among the most popular games worldwide, it is not a surprise that there are some many tournaments, which take place every day. And here are some of the most exciting events that are going to start in the week between March 9-15.
2015 Estrellas Poker Tour
The sixth season of the Estrellas Poker Tour started earlier today and will continue up to March 15. Casino Gran Madrid in the capital of Spain is playing host to the tournament. The buy-in fees vary from €70 to €2,000. The four-day Main Event starts on March 11 with the final table set for March 15.
$1 Million Live! Poker Classic
The tournament will take place between March 9-23 at the Maryland Live! Casino. It will feature several different events, such as Pot-Limit Omaha, No Limit Hold’em, etc. The buy-in fees for the separate events range from $200 to $2,200 for the Main Event, which is scheduled to start on March 21. Entrants will be given the opportunity to win up to $300,000.
2015 Australia New Zealand Poker Tour – Sydney
The second tournament of the 2015 ANZPT Season 7 will be held between March 11-23 at the emblematic Star Casino in Sydney. It will feature a total of seven Pot-Limit Omaha and No Limit Hold’em events as well as several satellites. The buy-in fees vary from AU$330 to AU$2,300 for the three-day Main Event. The final table is scheduled for March 23.
2015 HPT Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City
As its name suggests, the tournament will be held at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri. It is set to kick off on March 13 and will continue up to March 23. The buy-in fees for the various events vary start from $125. Main Event entrants will have to pay $1,650. The Main Event itself is set to start in three flights. The final table is scheduled for March 23 and will be nationally televised.
2015 WPT Rolling Thunder
Actually, the satellites for this tournament have already started. The real action is set to begin on March 13 and to last until March 18. The Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, California will play host to the tournament. The buy-in fees start from $265. As for the Main Event, players will have to pay the sum of $3,200 + $300, in order to be able to enter it. The final table is set for March 23 and will be broadcast live.
