
The newly appointed Frank Freedman has considerable experience in the casino industry as he used to work as an assistant general manager of Four Winds New Buffalo, Four Winds Hartford and Four Winds Dowagiac.
John P. Warren, the chairman of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, commented on the appointment and said that both the leaving and the newly-appointed managers played a key role in the development of Four Winds Casinos and contributed to the popularization of the properties.
He went on to say that all Pokagon citizens as well as the gaming authorities and the members of the tribal council are really thankful to Mr. Harkness and they do appreciate his excellent leadership skills and the efforts he put into developing the property. In conclusion the chariman said that Matt Harkness will be truly missed.
However, Mr. Warren did not miss to comment on the appointment of Frank Freedman and said that casino executives were delighted to have such an invaluable asset in charge of Four Winds Casinos. Harkness and Freedman have been working in collaboration for almost two decades, which means that the latter is well prepared to handle the challenging work environment and ensure the organization is successful and prosperous.
Mr. Harkness also commented on his leaving and said that it has been a wonderful experience to be a part of the Pokagon Band team and to contribute to the development of the three properties he used to work at.
Mr. Freedman said that he is thankful for the opportunity to be the leader of Four Winds and admitted that Matt Harkness has been his mentor and friend for 20 years and he wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.
